Description

The hostel is catering for overland travellers with their own vehicles. The proprietors Enzo and Martina are specialists in importing and exporting owners overland vehicles and bikes. They take care of all aspects of the process for a very reasonable price and take the hassle out of dealing with customs etc. They can organise insurance for the vehicles and bikes. It is a large private residence with a small kitchen for guests, a variety of rooms with and without private bathroom. A very safe area for bike parking. Very friendly and great place to meet other motorcyclists. Storage for rigs can be organised.

Cannot recommend them for shipping purposes. Martina has hard issues of concentration. Communication was hard and in the end they wanted to charge us 500$ more than we agreed in the first place due to mistakes she made. The shipping line wanted the container back in san antonio, which generated additional costs. She did not inform us in time, even though we stayed at their place. I managed to return the container in valparaiso, meanwhile they sent it to san antonio and presented me the bill... i also had to handled the forwarder and payed their taxi bills. They are very nice people but not helpful to us

We had a great stay here. Felt very welcome. Enzo and Martina made the import of our car in two hours. Absolutly profesional.

Family house, not a hostel. Very nice couple and their son run the place. They were very accommodating of our unplanned arrival but not thrilled to find out that they are listed on iOverlander as a hostel. They do offer accommodations but by reservation only. Reservations can be made at: [email protected]

They speak English, German and Spanish.

Space for one car or four bikes. Hot water, toilets with toilet seats, WiFi and kitchen. Very comfy bed and three cats.

We paid 12,000clp per person for one night and they said it would be 11,000clp pp for more than one night.

We got help here for shipping. But this is no hostel for backpackers or large cars, only for custumers and biker. Owner asked me to change status to shipping only!

Almost-legendary biking hub in a really characterful big old wooden house. I paid 11,000 Pesos per night to share a 2-bed room with separate bathroom. Secure parking for something like 10 motos. Good WiFi and warm water. Small (1-person) kitchen. About 2km from the centre of town (Collectivo: 400 Pesos). Helpfully run by a German/Chilean couple who can arrange sea freight for your bike. Recommended as a pretty unique guesthouse!
