Good spot - see photo for parking layout as well as hunting season dates.

this is a VERY POPULAR CLIMBING CRAG. Please park parallel to the road when filling in the parking area. Parking area is U shaped. Pulling your vehicle straight in only accommodates about 4 vehicles.

It’s a long, narrow curvy road to get here but we’ll maintained and paved the entire way and it’s a pretty drive. Spot is not very big — could hold maybe 2 vans, 3 if on top of each other. Very close to the road so a little bit of noise that should die down at night. Partially shaded (4-5° cooler up here). 2 bars of T-mobile. I’d stay again for just an overnighter

Prius camping was level and quiet. There are free campsites here as well as at least 5 other spots to pull out going north from this spot. I'd stay again.

Great place! I recommend pulling into the campsite rather than off the road. The road was quiet through the night. If you have time check out the lake.

Its a big lot - we came friday night and there was no one here but we woke up and there were cars all over the place and a bunch of locals were mad that we parked the wrong way SO PARK PARALLEL TO THE ROAD! otherwise this place was great!

Lots of trash everywhere, we spent some time cleaning up the area around our tent but other than that it’s a nice spot. We usually car camp but we decided to use the tent here and it’s been a pleasant stay. Short walk down a steep hill to the river. Water is OK to cool off but very murky, some plastic waste floating down river ruins the experience for me!

Traveled down a rough paved road until we came to a small parking lot. Ended up getting in to late to set up tents. Sleeping in the van wasn't to bad with the road being right there. Plenty of nice camping spots.

Great little spot, but not very level. The two spots furthest from the road are the flat-est. Parking can only accommodate 8 - 10 vehicles, not enough room for RVs or trailers. The trail for the Tennessee wall is across the road, but was closed when I visited. Locals told me it is a very popular place for climbers, but there is another parking lot with 3 more campsites 100 ft down the road. The short trail to the river is kinda steep, but the water is nice and cold. One morning we did hear a barge come up the river (very loud at around 8:30 am) and locals said they are also very well lit, so not nice if you snagged the spot right by the water. Very spotty tmobile 4g in the parking, but steady by the water. Straight Talk was a solid 1-2 bars of LTE.
