Locals are not friendly here, made me very uneasy around my wife and children. Shortly after my family and I arrived and had set up camp two men pulled trucks up with their headlights on and one stayed back with a rifle while the other confronted me in front of my family. According to him, these are not camp sites and the locals have to pick up after everyone. very scary, not worth the drive.

Report Check-InThis is private land. Some individuals have abused it with garbage and spray paint. Recommend finding another spot in forest land and urge y’all to leave all land better than you found it.
Report Check-InVery well maintained pullout with some nice flat rocks and a short jaunt a ways down the mountain to a viewing spot away from the road. Surprisingly flat and can fit 2-3 vans comfortably. Little to no trash. Alright cell coverage (Verizon) loads music and videos slowly. A man came and informed me that it is private land that he owns and as long as I was respectful of the spot and pack out my trash he doesn’t mind me staying. I also have out of state plates and am passing through so I think that helped. This spot is good for pets since there is that small walk away from the road. Wind wasn’t as bad as some of the other spots.
Report Check-InAwesome place to stay. Hot and bugs during the day, but at night it’s super quiet, peaceful, with a view of Santa Barbara and the coast that can’t be beat.
Report Check-InGreat view and last pullout with cell service (t-mobile). Big thumbs up!
Report Check-InBeautiful views, quite big (easily fits three vans) and directly on the road (which is quite after sunset). Like many other pull outs along the road.
