Latest Check-Ins

Still free for overlanders who sleep in their car or van. No camping with tents anymore. The space is amazing, you get bathroom, showers, electricity to charge your devices for free. Juan Pablo is super knowledgeable and will give you advice about what to do. I bought dinner and a few drinks over the 3 days I was there, but there's zero pressure to do so. I loved it! Reviews on Google or TripAdvisor help them, so that's what I did.

Unbelievable: Still FREE! Very nice and well maintained place. 100 mtrs from „cascada fin del mundo“ trail. Only downside: parking place next to the road. Restaurant and seating area in the rear of the building towards the river. Absolutely NO pressure or any kind of attempt to sell you drinks or food. Coffee and drinking water FREE. „Apfelstrudel“ on the menue. It‘s really fun to spend the money you saved on camping in their restaurant.

we stayed here 4 nights with our sprinter camper van for free, but felt obliged to buy beers at night (4.000cop each: poker 355ml). clean showers and toilets. good wifi (no claro reception). hardly any moscitos. we did the walk to fin del mundo waterfall and CEA.

Report Check-In

Really nice place to stay !! We didn't paid anything for the 2 nights we stayed, sleeping in our van. We prefered buy some beers (3500pesos/beer) to them than drinking ours :)

Report Check-In

Very welcoming and warm owners here! Sadly we spent only one night, but could easily have stayed one week. We had breakfast next to the monkeys and many amazing plants and birds around.
Cars can stay for free, but we think you should eat or drink at least something there to give something back. We ate the most amazing veggie burgers there, which they made from scratch. Highly recommended!

Report Check-In

Might be free for cars but not for motorcyclists who sleep in a tent. We paid 10.000 pp and could sleep with our tent under a roof, next to the river. It was very quiet. They have filtered water and coffee for free. Monkeys come to visit the place every day, you can feed them with bananas :)

Report Check-In

we came here with a tent for 2 persons. they first wanted 8000 pesos per person per night. we looked for another place and phoned to the owner and then paid 5000 per person per night.
coffee for free.

FREE FOR OVERLANDERS! Nice hostel that opens its gates for Overlanders. No charge at all. WiFi, electricity, shower, toilet. Kitchen. You can use it all.
They expect you to consume some from their goods, but they do not force you at all. You feel very welcome here. Stayed 3 nights. Had breakfast every morning for 8000 each. Beer is 3500. Walking distance from the entrance of the waterfall.

Nice place to organize hike around Mocoa

Report Check-In

They let me stay for free in my car. I could use the toilet and the wifi and I could charge my electronic devices. The owner even offered me a fresh juice for free. So nice and friendly these people!

Changing the symbol again to campground please as a lot of people don't look at hotels (and this is a free campground!). Still free for overlanders, coffee, toilet, shower, water absolutely lovely hosts & right next to door to the fin del mundo hike which is a must do!

Report Check-In

Stay here again on our way north. Still for free and super friendly owner. If you stay in your car, free. If you take a room, of course it will not be free.

Edit: Changed the icon to "unofficial campground" as most people seem to sleep in their rigs rather than taking a room.

Report Check-In

Stayed here 3 nights (waiting for good weather to do the hike), for free! We ate at the onsite restaurant every night, nice food. Nice garden, friendly people and good facilities considering it's for free. The owner told me to write that you can use their kitchen as well. Our friends with their 3,69 m high rig fitted through the gate.

Its a beautyfull place we arrive in our rig and we meet the owner he offer us a very good room at very good price 150000 cop for 4 people and a dog so we rather to stay in the room . Very good eating in place

Parked the car off to the right in their front parking area/yard. Still free for overlanders to sleep in their cars. very friendly man at reception! actually, everyone is very nice! still can't believe it's free with bathroom/shower and common area access. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The reach of the wifi is weak in the parking area.

Report Check-In

Good spot for a night. Owners are super friendly and helpful. We stayed free you our truck. We did buy a few beers and a surprisingly good quesadilla from the place up front. Noisy as it’s right next to road but great spot if you doing the Fin del Mundo hike. Which you should it was great.

Report Check-In

We read the reviews saying it was free for overlanders....but travellers on a motorbike must not be overlanders!!!
Initially they asked us for 20000 for 2 people, we bargined down to 15000. Cold showers and no lights in the bathroom....in our opinion not really worth the cost

Report Check-In

Fantastic location and incredibly friendly owner. Let us stay here for free as well, asked two times because we couldn't believe it. Busy place that offers various tours into the area.
We were allowed to use cold showers and toilets as well as the internet. Big rigs might have a hard time getting through the gate and fitting into the parking lot.
We can highly recommend this place!

Report Check-In

The owner told us Overlanders can camp here free now. worked great for me!

Report Check-In

perfect place to stay, good environment, safe place if you are traveling by motorcycle. 20.000 COP pp, hot shower, fast internet, excellent location

Wir sind mit unserem Defender sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen. Der Ausflug zum Wasserfall ist ein muss, der Weg dahin ist schon ein Erlebnis. Können wir nur weiter Empfehlen..

Report Check-In

They have a covered area for tends behind the main house, 10 mil for a tend, 8 mil for a hammok, and 20 mil for a bed in a dorm. Carlos, the guy in charge is very helpfull! Theres a few possibilities to do a ayhuauasca ceremony in the area!

Report Check-In

Nice, relaxed hostal atmosphere. Camped in the van in their front garden.

Report Check-In

Charged COP 15'000 for our truck and 2 people. Wanted 2000 more for using the basic kitchen. The covered terrace is nice but there is very little room to park the van. Toilet and shower (cold, no shower head) are very simple. And site is right beside the busy road (sealed) like all the other places in the vicinity. 30+ noisy fuel trucks at 5:30 am. For lack of a good camping option the whole area is not really a convincing option for spending multiple days. Lastima.
