Very large parking lot by the River, quiet and very nice spot. Gravel and dirt. No signs about parking overnight, wasn't disturbed.
Driveway in is full of deep potholes, but that's probably due to the time of year.

Huge area next to the lake; busy with cars and visitors until 11pm & trains close by. But definitely ok to spend the night!

Very nice park by the water and the kinsmen community pavilion that has bathrooms.

Spent one night there no problem.

Very nice place at Rideau Canal.
You can park on the grass or on the gravel. Nice place for walking the dog.
I can confirm, that kids are a bit noisy in the evening, but they were harmless and left by 11pm. Picnic Area with bins.
No 4x4 needed.

Great place to stay for a night.
In the evening and in the morning there are lots of people coming and going.
We stayed in our RTT, there is lots of space for any kind of equipment.
Picnic tables, garbage and washrooms (closed at night) available. Lake and sports grounds nearby.

Nice big place next to soccer and baseball field.
Large open grass field to pitch a tent.
Train noises are definitely noticable especially if you come with a tent. teenagers were also there plus the usual cars coming and going with no purpose.
I liked my visit here and will come back again because it's a great place in the morning

Stayed 1 night. Nice spot, clean toilets but not 24hrs. Splash pad, kids park, soccer field. We were there on a Friday night. Local teenagers were there till midnight. There are train tracks near by so don’t be surprised to hear trains.
No signs or anything indicating no camping.

Parc tranquille au bord du canal Rideau. Longe piste cyclable et sentier qui rejoint le centre ville.
Agréable pour une nuit.
Toilettes dispo jusqu’à 20h30.
