Something not right?

Description

This entire area is perfect for dispersed camping. This exact coordinate is where we slept in our sprinter van overnight, but there’s plenty of spots and you’ll always have another few campers keeping you company. Snowed overnight but no issues getting out despite RWD.
Would definitely come back.

Road is not marked on google maps, but it’s there, you’ll see it.
2 bars of LTE cell service on AT&T and Verizon.

An iconic boondocking spot, not to be missed! Rigs of all types can make it here easily, but take note that any rain turns the ground to sticky mud. Do not attempt in a thunderstorm. Another word of caution: while we were here, a sudden high wind event flipped over a light trailer with the owner inside. The person was completely fine, but the trailer was ruined and nearly went right off the edge. I would recommend keeping an eye on the weather and not parking right on the cliff side. It's much safer to park near the wooden poles on the grassland side of the road.
Excellent verizon cell service. Enjoy!

Amazing spot right before the entrance to the badlands. Plenty of flat spots to park and enjoy the beautiful view from sunset to sunrise. Even heard some coyotes bowling

Endroit où vous campez le long du mur (Wall) siégeant au-dessus des Badlands, vue spectaculaire. Plusieurs espaces disponibles le long de la route et cela peu importe votre type de véhicule récréatif.

A place everyone should visit. Likely some of the best views anywhere, free or paid. Great for solar. Whole area is exposed so thunderstorms at night, when they happen, can get a little intense. Not a lot of mosquitoes but there are biting flies. Decent Verizon and AT&T signal. Water refill options nearby (Trading Post in Cactus Flats was my preferred).

I camped here last year, was going through the area and just had to camp a second time. Beautiful as always

We stayed here for two nights during the off season and experienced completely different weather both nights. The first night we were the only ones there and had beautiful clear skies. The following night, we were joined by four other rigs and it snowed overnight. We got about 1-2” of snow and we were still able to make it down with no issues. The road up to this spot is full of huge potholes so drive with caution. It’s a short drive up and we were able to make it up in our FWD Promaster van. It is very windy on the top of this lookout and we heard the gusts blowing all night long. The view of the sunrise was incredible. Glad we stayed here.

Busy spot overlooking the Badlands, a big storm rolled in overnight making the area pretty muddy. Would definitely stay again.
