We arrived after closing, paid $5 entrance fee and parked overnight in the lot. Next morning we drove all around the lake and had our coffee on a swing. Lovely spot. Super quiet. 1 bar of cell in most places but 3 in a few.

Report Check-InI was reading this campground was 5$. It is not true. it is 36$ including entrance in the Park.
Report Check-InEnjoyed a $5 quiet night of undisturbed sleep at the boat launch lot. Some boats on trailers coming and going during the day, but the lot is huge and it's easy to be out of the way. Nearby bathroom has flush toilets, running water, hand dryer, and an indoor outlet. T-Mobile service 3-5 bars.
Free hot showers available in the camping area near the RVs. Coin Laundry $3 and dryer $3.50 in bathhouse. GPS coordinates show a shower location.
Great trails for a hike or run along the lake.
Park also has tennis courts, mini golf, hookups, primitive sites, small camp store.
Report Check-InGreat spot looking down on the lake. No one came around and I came in @ 5pm left at 7am. In camping van.
Report Check-Indrove after the park "closed" got the envelope and put $5 in, then parked at the boat ramp. no trouble til 10pm when, I think a ranger, someone walked a circle round my van 3 times trying to see in with a flashlight. no knock and slept fine there after that. I think 10pm is when camp gates close so they sweep the whole park around that time
Report Check-InGreat clean spot. Paid the $5 parking fee. No Ranger etc stopped to check anything. Was definitely the biggest lightening storm I've experienced in my life, so be careful if you are in a pop up truck camper, which I was. Didn't think I was going to survive the night!
Report Check-InMy first night car camping with my old Prius and my new Habitent! Got in at 8:30 PM and no one was at the gate. Self registered and left my $5. Parked in the first lot as previous posters mentioned. Beautiful view of the lake, and it’s just me & the frogs. Flushers and running water just over the hill. Awesome.
Report Check-In2 bars LTE Verizon. Arrived at 10pm. No attendant. Paid $5 in drop box. Nobody in parking lot. Parked in the first lot on the left as posted by other user. Dark and quiet. Plenty of space for a large RV
Report Check-In$5 dry camping with flush toilets and beautiful lake views. Ranger Tim said it's fine to camp in the boat launch parking lot on the hill (not the lot next to the visitor center) -- first left after passing the entrance kiosk. No shade, but there is a picnic shelter nearby. Only one other van on a Sunday night, handful of boaters the next morning.
(There's also a proper campground in the park.)
