Free. No cover. Visible from road. Flat. Easy access for big rigs or non 4x4. Enjoy dolphins and sunsets without the sketchy access of the spot to the north.

Definitely not a place for overnight. Very close to the road, not quiet and not levelled at all. We went on to Santa Barbara.
Report Check-InEasy spot to stay after arriving with a late ferry but next to the road and hard to find a hidden place for toilets for girls
Report Check-InStayed here 1 night.Big flat spot just off the road, with walking access to the beach.
Nothing special but better than town. Not too noisy in the night, some campers lingering around in the day.
Report Check-InFlat area, nice views, good signal from Entel, 3 mins outside the city of Chaitén
Report Check-Ingood place for a night after coming off the ferry. careful if you come here after dark, go to the end of the parking for easy access, big curb in the beginning. acces to beach is for walking only, big drop. saw some dolphins, too cold for the horse horseflies to come and bug us, luckily
Report Check-InFlat parking spot with nice view on the ocean. All travellers who we spoke to had seen the dolphins here, and so did we.
Report Check-InGood spot for a night, beautiful sunset. While it is on the side of the road, the road noise was not an issue.
As another person reports, there is what appears to be a road to the beach. It is not. DO NOT drive down it, period.
Report Check-InReally Nice spot to spend 1 night after the ferry from quellon. 3min from there. Just above the beach. See Dolphins in the morning. Réally quiet. Big parking. Motorhome and tent ok.
Report Check-InGood flat spot with a nice view over the water.
TAKE NOTE: A dirt road appears to access the beach. DO NOT take this in the dark. It ends abruptly in a 1.5+ meter sharp drop-off. I can imagine this being hard to see in the dark and since one ferry arrives quite late, I suspect a lot of people arrive in the dark.
Assuming you don’t die in a horrible midnight parking job-cum-cliff diving incident, great spot to camp.
Report Check-InBig parking lot at the street. Our ferry arrived after midnight fron Chiloé and it was ok to spend the night here. There were minimum 5 other cars also coming from the ferry who spent the night at this place.
Report Check-InAfter arriving by ferry in the middle of the night a good spot to get a few hours of sleep. Dolphins and swans in the bay, but huge horseflies disturbing the peaceful morning, hundreds of them!
BTW: Playa St. Barbara is clearly he nicer option, however it’s horsefly season also there...
Stayed in top car park. Friendly locals come by. Beach would be loverly except for the fly tipping. Dolphins potted in the bay
Report Check-InFree. No cover. Visible from road. Flat. Easy access for big rigs or non 4x4. Enjoy dolphins and sunsets without the sketchy access of the spot to the north.
