Spent the night at this trailhead lot. Just off a lightly travelled road - very quiet at night. Pleasant 5 mile hike. We saw a group of feral hogs.

Great trail head parking lot. Vault toilet and trash bins. Fairly quiet with beautiful wooded area, making a nice view in the morning!
Report Check-InGot here right as the sun was setting. Nice vault toilets. I see a campfire down the trail. Looks like campers in there but not bothering me. Some road noise but betting it gets quiet soon. GPS took me right to here
Report Check-InArrived after sun down to this parking lot and decided to spend the night and hike the 5-mile loop trail in the Nature Preserve the next morning. There was another truck in the lot and the road noise died down after 9 pm. The hike was good with occasional muddy spots to navigate. Did not see any animals. There was a pond near the trailhead, looked very serene in the morning light.
