Something not right?

Description

Beautiful campsite on peninsula. We stayed on concrete pad at end of campground right on lake. Electricity, water, hot showers and toilets. 5 minute walk to plaza. CH$8000 per night (negotiated down from 10,000). (February 2018 it's 25,000 for a van and family, Jan 2019 20,000 CLP for two in a van)

Ok place. Charged 10,000CLP for one person with a tent and bicycle. Asked for a discount because of off season but wouldn’t budge. Bathrooms shabby and hot water only at specific times.

Report Check-In

Really nice place. 20k pesos for two persons & van.

Report Check-In

A bit expensive for the worn bathroom facilities, immediate to the remodelled promenade. Nice administrator. Can have water pressure or shortage problems, not sure if the problem originated in the city at our short stay (only 1 night).

Les emplacements sont sympas eau et électricité sur chaque emplacement, la wifi est bonne. Le point négatif sont les sanitaires très peu d’eau chaude et sales. Un peu cher pour les prestations 15000 pesos par personne.

Nice operator. Very nice campsite with level pitches. The places are bordered with flowers / bushes. Common room is available. Sanitary facilities clean and functional.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place as described. Hot showers only late in the evening, sometimes they no work. Access to lake but it’s not allowed to swim.
Very expensive for what you get, 20k for 2 people in a Motorhome.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful campground on a peninsula. Good facilities: clean toilets, warm showers, bbq pit, wifi. The price list says 25,000 CLP per pit for up to 4 people, she wanted 20,000 CLP for the two of us in a van. Would have probably been possible to negotiate. Some dogs around and some barking in the night but nothing that kept us from sleeping. All in all a bit pricey but a nice spot.

Lovely campsite.
we were here in the spring and the roses were in bloom. It was lovely.
There were many dogs barking throughout the night. All night!
They were not in the camp site but just across the water and the noise traveled over the water very well. They kept us awake in a tent.
Camp sites are a good size with pleasant foliage.
Boats available to rent.
Electricity at each site.

A sign states 25000 for up to 4 people but we were only charged 14000 for two. Still low season though.

Report Check-In

Negotiated 12,000 for 2 people and a roof tent. The owner is quite a character and the hot water in the showers is hot! Lots of barking dogs at night as mentioned - they’re not from the campsite but sound carries across the lake.

Report Check-In

Beautiful little campground right in town and at the lake. Chill vibe. Swimming in the lake possible on site. WiFi worked fine on site 8. 25k for a camper and a family of four.

Report Check-In

OK place with friendly owner. Electricity off and wifi was intermittent. Not very crowded, but annoying to have owner guide another person to put their tent within two meters.

Report Check-In

Very nice, clean Campground with good wifi. He want's to have 20.000 (2 adults, 1 child and the van) but when you say thats too much, 15.000 was ok for him

Report Check-In

Friendly owner. Place with ok WiFi (if it works, cause it seems not to work when the weather is bad), Electricity and hot showers (9-11 in the morning and 7-9 in the evening). We paid 18000 (first he asked for 20k) for one night for two and a small van. Loud during the night cause of many many dogs! If you don't need electricity or showers, it seems that close to the campsite is a good overnight stop. Saw one overlander there in the morning. Just 2 streets down the Lake on the right side.

Schöner Campingplatz direkt am See. Für drei Tage zahlten wir 50000 Pesos.

Nice Camping, with numbered places and a lot of flowers. It's possible to swim in the lake. Toilets are clean. Wifi works next to the house. Hot showers. We pay the reguöar price: 2 adilts, 2 kids, 1 van = 18000. If you stay longer he makes an offer. A nice small city. Free Wifi at the central place. Not far to the cascadas in the east and the beautiful vulcano Osorno.

nice camping? baths looks good as hell. random pricing. asked for 15k for two with a car roof tent. we paid 25k for a Motel in the day before with a very better structure.

Report Check-In

Very nice camping but not cheap - 20000 in high season for 2 people. Very friendly owner, hot shower, wifi works if not clouded!!

Report Check-In

Nice little camping. Very manicured bushes and perfect lawn. Besides that it feels like it's in a nature preserve with lots of big birds in the trees and little lagoon. They asked us for 15k! but we said our friends paid 10 and it was ok. Our neighbor, a single traveler paid 6k per night. Random pricing. Hot showers. Moody internet by the house only [Password removed by moderator.] They got a friendly tiny male dog. Easy walk to cute very German looking town and you can also hike up the hill to get a nice view over the lake and two volcanos. Driving out of down we noticed there's one more camping across the bay on a peninsula called Centinela. Maybe a nice option as well.

Nice campground. Wif only worked near the entrance and bathroom area and wasnt very fast when the weather was bad. The man told me the cost for 2 people was 10,000 without hot water, and 12,000 with hot water. But when we left the next morning, the lady only charged us 10,000. If there are more people camping, I am not sure how they separate people from using hot water or not. Our dogs were very welcome.

Beautiful campsite at location close to the little village. We stayed on the concrete slab near the water. Apparently this is not a camping spot but we convinced the friendly owner that we only would use it one night. Showers didn't work. Toilets were dirty. Sinks outside the showerblock. Wifi works only outside the front door of the owners house. We paid 10.000 for a small campervan and two crew. Lots of things to do and see: rowing boats for hire, fishing and a walk up to the cemetery. From here a wonderful view on three volcanoes.

Report Check-In

Quiet little campsite out of season. 10000 pesos for us but WiFi was good.

Report Check-In
