Awesome wild camping on the very edge of amazing canyon! Very busy. Great cell and data.

Easy to find with the coordinates, tons of people here even at the end of September, great cell service, great views. Was able to watch youtube and upload pics and a tiktok but still felt remote enough. Obviously no toilet or trash receptacle so carry in/out. Wall is about 8 miles away from the beginning of the campsites. If you drive further up to more remote spots it will take a bit longer to get back to Wall. Definitely try to arrive before 5pm. I got here at 4:30 and was lucky to find a spot as most were full.
Report Check-InVery close to Wall, SD. Well known and therefore crowded. Generators running galore. Pretty view in the morning. But make sure you arrive well before dark if you want a spot with a good view and far away from noisy folks. Good breeze and almost no bugs.
Report Check-Inbeautiful scenery but do not attempt if there has been a lot of rain. There were several RV's stuck in the mud and needed towing.
Report Check-InGood spot for a night or two. Extremely busy. There are better less busy spots around the badlands but if you're looking for an easy place, this is it. Plenty of cell signal and rigs of all sizes up here.
Report Check-InExcellent spot with lots of room. Super busy but found a spot and had a great sunset and great sleep! Good cell service to call and check in on friends and family too.
Report Check-InLots of people, but friendly and quiet. We easily found a place on the rim. We arrived around 530-545 pm. We really enjoyed the views from the rim. Wonderful sunset and sunrise.
Report Check-InIncredible spot to spend the night. There are many other campers here as well. The place is very big so it’s not crowded.
Report Check-InAmazing spots right in a ridge overlooking a beautiful valley. Went in May and there were probably 20 vehicles/RVs/trailers. If it has rained the roads are a bit sloppy and you may have problems. But beautiful sunrise over the ridge
Report Check-InWe stayed for 2 nights without a problem. Very good cell service on AT&T data, Visible and Mint. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. As others have mentioned, expect a good deal of wind, as this place is on a ridge line and very exposed. Also, no shade to speak of. There were maybe 10-15 campers spread about on a mid-October weekend and we did not feel crowded at all. Access is through a pretty good dirt road, but watch for scattered potholes, especially right by the cattle guards.
Report Check-InAmazing area to camp, right on the ridge with a view of the Badlands. VERY busy with probably over a hundred camper, trailers, vans. Got very windy overnight.
Report Check-InAmazing boondocking location. Try to get here as early as possible to secure a good spot. We drove up past the antennas and took a left and there were plenty of good options. Got to see some antelope and had good service. A bit windy but manageable!
Report Check-InRough road but dry so mo problem for our Promaster. We loved the amazing view. lots of campers but spread out. Windy! Watched cow and deer down below. Heard the coyote at dark!
