Something not right?

Description

Serenity by the stream. Really good LTE service from Verizon. Have been doing remote work. A couple more spots along the road, I believe 5 or 6. Flat and level. Gravel road but not bad. No ATT service at all.

Good camping with designated but free first come first serve campsites. Ok phone signal & road is good 2wd

Report Check-In

Was not able to reach this site. Road closed due to logging.

Report Check-In

We made it in and set up with out 32’ skoolie pulling a 18’ trailer. I would NOT recommend doing it if you have a hard time backing a trailer. We had 2 very respectful neighbours and the temperature was PERFECT! We would go back!

Report Check-In

Road closed as of the 4th. Room at the base if needed for a quick overnight

Report Check-In

Road is still closed off. There is an open space in front of the gate that has some remnants of a fire ring. It was a decent place to spend the night. The river is nearby so if you like the sound of flowing water you’re in luck.

Report Check-In

Access road is temporarily closed due to heavy rainfall.

Report Check-In

Quiet place by the river, dirty road but ok. No toilets were found. Be aware that some spots are muddy in late may.

Report Check-In

Road was still gated off. Signs says due to logging and wet road conditions. The road was fine but there clearly was a logging operation going on. We didn’t see or hear anyone. Wasn’t bothered, quiet, with 3 bars Verizon

Report Check-In

Tried going up here on April 2nd and the road was still gated off. not sure when the forest reopens, june maybe

Report Check-In

Outstanding location. Like others, I drove past the first site. Multiple sites along the creek. Plenty of flat spots with tree cover. Gravel road, easy to drive. Trailhead nearby (trail 111). Spots are super far apart so very quiet and secluded. Absolutely perfect spot. This is bear country and there are signs throughout describing best precautions - be sure to follow them.

Report Check-In

Great spots, about 5 up a forest road. Each site is far away from others and well secluded. If this area is full, Whit road also has a few sites. This location filled up about 7pm, but there were some cars who pulled off and made their own locations. Very peaceful. Pack it out, there was visible trash.

Report Check-In

At the end of Red Canyon Road (Trail Head) there is a pit toilet.

Report Check-In

Went further down the road as the spot the original post leads to was already occupied.

Found a few more spots designated by NFS, one on a slope, the other we chose was level and creekside.

Sign posted says Maximum 16 days. Very quiet.

Bear country! Keep all attractants (anything that has a scent/fragrance) locked up in your vehicle or in a bear container. Keep your pet(s) safe and leashed here.

We saw a mama Bison & her baby walking alongside the gravel road on the way in.

Pack it in, pack it out, leave it better than you found it, and keep it beautiful!

Report Check-In

Great canyon and gravel road. Each pull off is away from others - very private along the seldom traveled road. Cell signal is decent on may carriers. Good for B+ and smaller rigs
