Large parking lot with trails into Mt Mansfield State Forest and Morristown Town Forest. Well maintained dirt road to get up here, suitable for any vehicle. Some cars in the lot on the weekend but cleared out by ~6pm and after that a quiet night. Small stream just down the trail from the lot.
Spotty and weak Verizon 4G signal.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Just because somebody stayed there once doesn't make it a dispersed camp spot.. A lot of places people call a spot simple because there is Not a sign that says No-Camping... It should be verified that camping is allowed before post it on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Report Check-InCame in the dark. great star watching spot. No car around. slept soundly, cars started arriving for hiking around 8 am . Definitely recommend.
Report Check-Inpretty private once the sun went down. Maybe had one car pass by in the night. not the prettiest place ive slept but decent for the night and having cell service is a nice plus
Report Check-InI was able to get my 32 FT class C RV down there with no problem. Scrapped some tree branches along the way. I wouldn’t drive anything over 12ft or higher down there.
