Description

Small car park on main road, but overlooking the water. We shared the lot with three big rigs. No facilities, and very noisy at night. There's a great cafe by the carpark that's open until 8pm most days with super-fast wifi. Try the hotel across the intersection for toilets - we walked straight in with no questions!

We spent a couple of nights here, quiet enough, felt very safe. There were clean portapotties all along the boardwalk, but there was some kind of festival going on so that might not be a permanent thing.

Makes a convenient base to visit town and surrounding area. Trash cans available. Some road noise, but we didn't encounter any late night parties. Free wifi available a short walk @ the punta arenas sign.

We spent 2 nights here because the weather in Torres del Paine was bad. Is not the ideal place as it is noisy. But you are in front of the sea.

we stayed here for a few nights, no problems at all. Not so noisy but some days very very windy. 10 min walk to the center of town.
we used the hotel on the other side for toilet.

Nice place at the costanera, some other overlanders here, too. Noise was not too bad, traffic is minimal during the night.

We spent one night and this was the only place in Punta Arenas we could find to park our larger RV. There are several waterfront lots that you can park in. Nice view of the water, many other vans there, walking distance to two great restaurants (La Luna and La Mestiza pizza along with a nice coffee shop with WiFi). Lots of road noise but tolerable for a night, felt safe, and it’s free. Grocery store nearby too.

We stayed at this camp because we had to be up early in the morning for a tour. It’s fairly noisy from traffic until late, but it’s tolerable for a night.

Good place for a night, but noisy and windy. Actually Informations about nearby Cafeteria: nice and quiet with lots of variations of cafe and cake, but no WiFi.

Estacionamento publico, um pouco barulhento à noite. Nao tem wc nem água. Mas gostamos de dormir aqui porque tem vista para o Estreito de Magalhães.
