Quiet, residential street parking across from the park. We usually don't park in residential areas but with the park right here it seemed fine and we're not directly in front of anyone's house. Several other cars parked along the street too so we blend in with our van. Stayed here without any issues. The park is nice too. Has bathrooms with flushing toilets and sinks. A water fountain outside. A pavilion with tables, grills, playground, basketball court, there is a parking lot for the park and I didnt see any no overnight signs so it might be safe to park there too. We just wanted to blend in with the other cars.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Just parked in the opposite side of the street from the houses. No issues, good in winter if you don’t like the cold.
Report Check-InGreat quiet spot. Showed up at 9:30 pm on a Sunday night and parked right across from the park. Left at 6:30 am in the morning after a nice night with no sleep interruptions.
Report Check-InNice spot. Some noise from late night shenanigans across the street at the park, but not a big deal. There are some druggies, but find a park that doesn't have at least 1 of those, haha. I had no problems.
Report Check-InStayed here one night, pulled in around 10:30pm left at 6am, no problems! Quiet street felt super safe
Great spot to wake up and head to Borst Lake for sunrise! I’m actually sitting at Borst lake right now, and there’s two mid size gravel pull offs on the road, the south side of which I would totally spend the night. Looks like a low-trafficked road, no street lights and no no-parking signs!
Report Check-InAs described, a quiet residential spot. No issues for one night on Labor Day weekend. I walked into town for dinner.
Google Maps told me to take a left from Newton, which is incorrect as Park Ave is a one-way.
Report Check-InLoved this spot! Parked across from the park on the one way street. Pretty quiet and a few other cars parked here so it’s stealthy. Really cute town down the street. Beautiful view of the mountains by the river. Verizon service was a little spotty but it worked okay.
Report Check-InGot here around 10:30 pm and was the only one. It felt super safe and was totally quiet. I slept in until about 9 am with no issues.
Report Check-InStreet parking by the park with no parking restrictions. One other camper on the street and an RV at the park. On a rainy morning after a very quiet night, no one seems to mind; but I wouldn’t push it for too long - any municipality can change its bylaws anytime.
Report Check-InGreat parking for the night! Anywhere on the street by the park seems good to go. Definitely keep it stealthy and don't ruin this one!
Report Check-InStayed for a night. Quiet and we had no issues. Bathrooms were unlocked clean. Park does have signs saying Dawn til Dusk only, but there was plenty of street parking.
Report Check-InThe road by the river mentioned in previous comments is closed until January 1st, 2022 for construction. However, the park is still open and the street in the other direction is open. A man who lived there pointed me to a pull out about 2000 feet down the road across from the high school. Look for a fence around some trees and you can pull behind it. not perfect, but I wasn't bothered
Report Check-InThe whole area that runs along the river, and the residential area between the main street and the river is wide open for quiet boon dockers. Using iO common courtesies there are plenty of good wide level spots across from parks or churches. LIB! (leave it better!)
Report Check-InStayed here in early June '21. There are houses down half of the street across from the park and the other half is empty, overgrown lot. Came after dark, slept, left early the next morning. Was very peaceful.
