Report Check-In

Quiet place with open space for campers. Water and electricity are available.

Public transportation for 8 pesos to downtown San Miguel de Allende as well as Uber and cabs that can be ordered for you at the front desk.

Report Check-In

Stayed here twice now, nice location to town and very safe. Big grassy area to run your dog and also very quiet

Report Check-In

Don’t stay at the parking beside the hotel ! A trailer for cats and some permanents very close. The meadow behind the hotel is much nicer, but not a hit either. No chance for large RVs to stay overnight in the city, so this is the only possibility. Nice people, clean facilities, bus right in front of the property. Not really quiet because of the street.

Report Check-In

Clean and peaceful place to stay. Very quiet in September. Cool and pleasant temperatures, 13 celcius in the night. Shower is hot and clean, toilet as well, has soap and TP. Very helpful people at the check-in.

Report Check-In

Nice facility with hot shower and toilet. Check out by 11am. Now costs 435 pesos/night for 2 people.

Report Check-In

Hotel San Ramón and RV park A large grassy area behind the hotel with full hook up at every place. Toilets and showers. The Swimmingpool is currently empty.

Report Check-In

Very pleasant campground with helpful staff and friendly guests.

Report Check-In

A small Hotel with RV sites, roughly 8 on concrete and about 10 on grass. they have full hookups and can accommodate up to 38 ft units. there's a thermal pool as well as clean washrooms and showers. also a cafe/ Restaurant which is open for breakfast or brunch. they also sell cheese and jams which are made in house and come from a local farm. A great location for checking out San Miguel de Allende and the region.

Report Check-In

Beth- checked in and offered a space in either lower or upper lot
We chose lower, which took a couple of 3 point turns for our 37 foot RV
Lovely space and great, friendly hosts.

Report Check-In

Tried to stay here for día de los muertos. They wanted $600 pesos for my 13 meter skoolie without electricity. Just to park. Horrible pricing. Did not stay and were shocked to see such a price gouge

Report Check-In

$385 per night for two. Lower area had 5 open sites. We were asked to use the lower area. We had been here before and could get our truck and 23 foot trailer in OK. Upper area had 4 open. Seems to be for long term or permanent. Friendly people. Excellent campground. Fast ATT and Telcel.

Report Check-In

We spent Xmas here because we wanted good Wi-Fi. And we were not disappointed :). For us in our camper car, no hookup, it was 435Ps/night. We've been in Mexico for 40d now and 300-400Ps seems to be the going rate at most places. About double what it was in 2017. About what you pay in most campgrounds in America now. The shower was a little cool (40C), but easily adjusted if you go aroun nd the back where the gas tank is and change the temperature ;).

Best advice for driving into town 3 miles away is... DON'T! The narrow streets and heavy traffic will drive you nuts!!! Park about 1km from the centre and then it's only a 10min walk in, along cobblestone streets, past plazas, street markets, etc. There is a lovely plaza in the centre, and a wealth of beautiful churches. San Miguel is the real deal at last!

Report Check-In

Quite expensive with >400 Mxn for a couple per night. Staff is quite helpful. Water faucet connection was faulty and they replaced it immediately. Stay in the second RV area away from the street. No concrete spots but not so much noise from the road. Wifi at 8 Mbps. Good LTE signal as well

Report Check-In

Rv park antes de san miguel de allende excelente servicio, alberca, baños y regaderas súper limpios, tienes todos los servicios y todo el
Personal que trabaja ahí están dispuestos a ayudarte tiene restaurante y es pet friendly

Report Check-In

Extremely unfriendly, campground with little working amenities. We were looking for a place to spend Christmas together with other travelers and checked out this place for a night. When we arrived they asked 420 for two people (up 100 from their published rates due to Covid). While at it, they also said the pool and showers are closed, so you get a price increase and less services, that's how customer satisfaction works :-) From other campers we got handed a shower key for the only working on the next day, but the staff at the reception didn't bother to mention that when we asked for showers. Unfortunately, there are not many good RV parks around St Miguel de Allende, in the end we enjoyed street parking in town the most and felt safe.

Report Check-In

Cramped parking lot with hookups. Not big rig friendly. Charged us almost 700 pesos per night because we tow a car with our 22ft rig and we have 3 kids. There’s no other place in town that would take us. The police pulled us over and extorted a 1000 pesos from us as well. It was a rough couple of expensive days in SMA.

Report Check-In

Beautiful hotel just outside of the city of San Miguel de Allende. This was a nice and quiet spot with a hotel that has a restaurant and pool (closed due to COVID-19 during our stay). Electricity worked great (enough to run our A/C). Wifi was down our first day there, but after notifying the hotel they fixed it and after that connection was great. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes to get into downtown San Miguel and was $350 pesos per night. Hot showers and single bathroom located next to camping area. It's a great spot to park if you want to visit San Miguel that's quieter than the one located in the center of town.

Report Check-In

We did not stay here but I wanted to make a correction. There is another great campground in San Miguel, but only for smaller rigs. It's a tennis court and RV park right in town but quiet.

Report Check-In

Good RV park and only option in San Miguel for Rigs over 24 ft. Quiet country setting but need to take bus (8 pesos) or taxi into town. Full hook ups.

Report Check-In

Muy bonito Lugar. Tranquilo y con poca gente en esta epoca.

Report Check-In

Nice spot for bigger rigs. On outskirts of town so easy to access. 67 Pesos uber ride into center of town. Staff friendly. Facilities pretty good. Stayed two nights.

Report Check-In

Concur it is expensive, concur the man at the front desk is unfriendly. Pool not been in use for quite some time. Restaurant is not open in the evening and high season seems to be all year or whenever he sees fit to call it that. If there was another camping ground for tents near by, we would be in it.

Report Check-In

150pesos to dump our black tank. Looked like a nice place to stay but expensive

Report Check-In

08.05.19 - 13.05.10
nice and clean campsite with all Anschluses directly on the pitch. San Miguel can be reached quickly with the Colectivo. On complaints we reacted immediately or deficiencies turned off. Very quiet place.

Report Check-In

Expensive (190 base plus 100 for each one, in our case: 4) for what you get, small and the guy in the counter were not friendly. They make you to sign a paper were they has no responsibility for robbery or damages of your properties.

Report Check-In

Paid 340 MXN for 1 night, 24 ft truckcamper, full hookup.
They first asked 400 MXN, because of high season, but after discussion, they agreed it’s not high season.
Added a picture of their pricelist.

Report Check-In

A nice place and not too expensive for what you get. When Internet works, it is fast. The colectivo from the entrance to center costs 7MEX PP. If you want to eat in town, don't go to La Terraza at the Plaza Allende! The worst rip off in Mexiko with bad meal.

Report Check-In

Full hookup, clean bathrooms, $370 pesos for a 26’ rig

Report Check-In

We was a bit concerned about cost arriving here, based on the comments.
Shouldn't be any confusion as to cost it's written on the office wall.
340 P a night for two people if you rig is under 30 feet, 400 P if it is over. 140 P extra per person.
We didn't find the spots small, the site we are in have cement tables.
Hot showers.
fast internet.

Report Check-In

Expansive but the only one accessible for big RV (30 feet). We tried the one in the city but was tough to drive mainly due to low electric wires.
Rather nice and quiet place with a bus at the front to drive you in the center.
Possible to leave your Landry.

Report Check-In

Good campsite to visit San Miguel de Allende, especially if you have an RV that doesn't fit in the Tennis Courts Campground in town. Relaxed atmosphere, good WiFi, full hookups, plenty of room. Swimming pools are filled on weekends but a bit chilly during the winter months.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

A note about hot showers, the showers by the pool are warm at best. The hot showers are down by the concrete RV parking. Restaurant open Thursday- Saturday 1:30-5:30pm, pool open "only on weekends". Pretty grounds and landscaping, grass lot is much quieter than the concrete one. Wifi strong, was able to get it inside our camper.

Report Check-In

We found everything as described. We liked it here. We stayed one night for 350 pesos.

Report Check-In

Clean and friendly RV park! Very quiet at night!

Report Check-In

unfortunately we did not stay here because they wanted to charge each of our children (8 & 9) $140 pesos each per night on top of the almost 400 for our small tent trailer. We asked if they would discount the kids and they said no. While I was at the front desk a woman was complaining about how close the rigs were. I didn't see them, but she basically said she barely could open up her door due to a slide on another campers RV. We headed down the road to Guanajuato.

Report Check-In

Good base from which to visit SM de Allende with easy access just north of the city. Bus stop out front. Good wifi. Low water pressure.
Full service sites. 320 pesos per night (truck and trailer) with a discount if you stay for a week.

Report Check-In

Nice place to spend the night for a visit to SMA. Electric, water on site. Clean bathrooms and showers.
240 pesos for 2 people in a truck camper.

Report Check-In

Outside of SMA but still close enough. $1875 pesos ($97.01 USD) for the week with full hookups.

Report Check-In

San Miguel de Allende 305 pesos/nt.
Nice hotel on grounds. Good electric ,water and sewer

Report Check-In

Great for large rigs.. not far from town and easy to take a cab into town. We parked in the back and it was easy to set up. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets

Report Check-In

Nice hotel... easy in for larger RV. Very quiet and secure. Alittle out of town

Report Check-In

San Miguel de Allende
Lots of space. Quiet. Friendly staff. 305 pesos/nt.Good electric, sewer and water

Report Check-In

Belle endroit pour visiter la ville. Autobus 7 pesos et taxi 80 pesos. Ville charmante.

Report Check-In

Nice and quiet. 350 pesos per night. Bus to town is 7 pesos, the best way to go. 3 services.

Report Check-In

Parked in shade on concrete. Lined up with unoccupied RVs. Area for dogs to walk. Murky, old concrete pool nearby. Pool near hotel rooms is half full and tepid. Restaurant only open in the am. Paid $300 for a camper/2 persons.

Report Check-In

As said before, this place is lacking for the price but because we were having an issue with our rig we stayed two nights. Would not stay here again. If you want a shower, make sure you ask about having the water heater turned on.

Report Check-In

We were alone on the upper place and it was quiet and nice.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 5 months in the rear campground area. It's not nearly as level but has loads of grass for the dogs and kids. Lots of caravans come through here.

We have a 37' rig and it's tight getting to the rear campground but it's well worth it.

There's a nice walk through the fields good for the dogs and kids.

The office staff and owner could use some help on being more friendly. They also charge a lot to stay here. But they can since the old RV campground near mega/la comer is gone and the only other RV campground in town is on a couple of tennis courts and cannot accommodate larger rigs.

The workers (groundskeepers etc) are super kind and worth getting to know.

Great sunset views here. Fun to wake up to hot air balloons taking off nearby.

It is easy to catch a bus from in front of the hotel. 5pesos a person to get into town. Doesn't go el centro but is only a few blocks off at one point. The bus also takes you to the far edge of the Mercado San Juan. It's got what you need!

Taxies are more difficult to catch but once in a while you can snag one that was on its way back to town after dropping someone off.

A taxi from centro to hotel san Ramon is about 60-80 pesos in 2016. Ymmv and it might be more or less because of many different factors.

SMA's centro (center of town) is worth exploring! So plan to stay at least two nights so one of the days you can head to the city center.

Water pressure is great in the hotel showers near the pool but awful by the RVs. Internet only works near the reception (not near the RVs. :( )

Report Check-In

Pas très bon pour les gros VRs, le chemin pour le camping arrière de l'hôtel n'est pas très carrossable.

Report Check-In

We visited both campgrounds in town. Here it is much more better for kids and the dog. The dog can run out of a leash and the kids can play in the grassy field. The pool has no water at this time. Its also for big rigs. To catch the bus into town is easy and fast. The campground is clean, also the bathrooms. The negativ thing is, its very expensive for what you get.

Report Check-In

Our trailer is too big for the small streets in centro. We stayed here. Very fast Wifi, very quiet, friendly owner and not far to centro. Ondegree north from camping is La Gruta Spa. 120 pesos/person for 40 degree hot springs. Better is early in the morning (open from 7am) whitout peopel ;)

Report Check-In

Great stay during Santa Semana. Place was packed. We stayed in "dry" near the road and loved it. Dry included electric for small things. There were 5 rigs here but we never lost power and it stayed in a safe range. Wifi was good even this far out. The full hook up sites on top of the hill seem to be great. Bus to Centro right out front. Staff was superb.

Report Check-In

M$284 per camper per night. No negotiation on price and the same with or without hookup. Considering the RV park right in town was M$300 this felt a bit much. Wifi included. Showers were hot to start but quickly turned cold.

Report Check-In

Nice spot, away from the noise and traffic of SMA, but close enough via bus or taxi. Dolores Hidalgo is only 35 minutes away, a must see.

Report Check-In

Camped in 22' travel trailer, 10 nights. Took 2 night side trip to to Guanajuato by bus. Taxi and bus service readily available.

Report Check-In

Quiet location close to town. Restaurant open for breakfast and on weekends. Two camping fields, one with partial shade.

Report Check-In

A Balneario on weekends. Pools fed by natural hot springs. Per local expat, this is the only remaining campground in San Migel. Quiet, convenient to town and services, nice staff.

Report Check-In

$270 for two people. This is on the outskirts of San Miguel de Allende and is a fully set up RV park. There are some short walking trails through high desert bush. Nice. A little highway noise but generally very quiet. Offer weekly and monthly rates. There are nice big concrete tables for each spot. Really good wifi.
