One of the most beautiful spots we’ve stayed in so far! Highly recommend. There was plenty of space for our 22ft van plus 14ft trailer. There are 6 or 7 large spaces for vehicles and additional smaller spots for vehicles in the area too.

Report Check-In

as described. great spot, plenty of room for a few rigs of all size with room in-between.

please be respectful of area and community. pack out what you bring in.

traveling in a 22' ford transit.

Report Check-In

Super nice view. A few others in the area.
Please, if you cannot poop in a bag or in your toilet, don’t use those sites 🤬

Report Check-In

Very nice spot with plenty of spaces on top of the cliff, sea view, next to the lighthouse and many trails around

Report Check-In

A beautiful place to boondock. Take the lighthouse road and watch for the Sleepy Cove/Lower Head Trail turnoff. If you go straight you will arrive at the city park campground with room for many rvs with picnic tables and water views. Supposedly $4 per night, but no place to pay. If you turn left you will go toward the top of Crow Head. There are three levels of gravel parking, with the road increasing in steepness. Our 25 ft rig fit well on the first level and offered great views of the cove, islands, and ocean. No signs and no fee. The gravel road to either site has potholes. Drive slow, and smaller rigs should be able to navigate around them.

Report Check-In

As described. Road in has big potholes. But otherwise it’s beautiful.

Report Check-In

Absolutely fantastic spot, sunsets are gorgeous. Easy to get into even with a 2 wheel drive. As mentioned, I believe it is an old quarry. When leaving the main road, make a left up the hill rather than down to get to these spots.

Report Check-In

Stunning views, Ice Berg's, Trails. Great Cell service.
Many other campers but lots of space. Touristy during the day but still very quiet.

Report Check-In

Spent 2 nights here, on foggy days. Really nice, quiet (except for the fog horn but not too disturbing) and beautiful view on icebergs

Report Check-In

there is a sign "no overnight camping". Some people spend the night there.

Report Check-In

Second tome here. Very quiet and great view.

Report Check-In

Someone was already here when we arrived, so we moved further. But the place looks good!

Report Check-In

Really Nice spot with vew of the ocean. A lot of places. It looks like a campground closed. We were about 10 VR there. Trails to the light house and others spots.

Report Check-In

Très belle place, nous étions seul. Lorsqu’il y a du brouillard, nous pouvons entendre le phare.

Report Check-In

vraiment beau spot! ne pas ce fier a google maps. tourné a gauche au lieu de continuer sur la route que google fais prendre. vue spectaculaire! le plus beau que nous avons fais jusqu'à maintenant

Report Check-In

This was probably the most beautiful spot we stayed on our cross canada roadtrip! Absolutely breathtaking! Can probably get quiet windy, however it wasn't too bad for us.

Report Check-In

Magnifique endroit avec vue!! Probablement une ancienne carrière. C'est facile de se trouver un endroit plus "privé" même s'il y a d'autres VR.

Report Check-In

Magnifique endroit!

Report Check-In

THE spot! Incredible views. I had a spot higher up on a steep, rougher road that lead up to this great spot.

Report Check-In

Very nice quiet place. Would comeback again for sure. Windy but not extreme

Report Check-In

very nice place. we did get up the gravel way at the left site because the plateau was too crowded with 5 or 6 RV 's. there is a lot of room for everyone. very nice Walking trials and do not forget to take a coffee with homemade sweet at Crow's nest a very pleasant inn, just before you go left to the '
campsite '.

We spent 3 great nights here. It was a little confusing on IOverlander where this spot is actually located from reading different reviews. When you’re heading toward the lighthouse and turn left off the paved road there’s an immediate split. We took the fork to the immediate left which takes you up to what appears to be an old quarry. There are 3 levels, all relatively flat, overlooking the ocean. The top terrace is good for one van. The other two fit 2-3. We have a van but the spaces are suitable for smaller towed trailers and larger class B’s.
The road that goes straight (has a sign saying ‘trails’) takes you up to the “blue rope” area by the beach area and cabins. Supposedly they charge for overnight camping but we didn’t see any indication of that when we walked down there.
Amazing hiking trails along the cliffs and to the lighthouse. Trash cans are available at the lighthouse. Good cell service.

gorgeous. could have stayed a week and stare at that ocean outside our wing door. a few other nomads nearby. had picnic tables and firepits. if you have 4x4 capability check up the steep drive on either side of the park. there is a beach access, and endless hours of watching the gannets dive into the ocean. My only complaint is this seems to be a popular place for the locals. in and out all day but dies off at night. highly reccomend!

Report Check-In

Great boondocking location with amazing ocean views. CoastalTrails outside the door. Sunsets and sunrises.

Report Check-In

We moved there in the middle of the night, after the lighthouse’s fog horn started to sound every minute. Kind of a bumpy road to get there but it is worth it.

Report Check-In

Very nice campsite; spectacular view. We shared the location with one other camper. Lots of room for several more, without being crowded. Very quiet.

Report Check-In
