Past the beware steep terrain sign still on good road there is a beautiful flat spot on the nose of the ridge. A bit windy but amazing vistas in all directions. Great AT&T signal

was not able to drive to exact coordinates because there was a sign (see pic) saying the dirt road was closed, although I did see someone drive thru the road, I wasnt trying to risk getting fined. also, there was another bigger sign at the entrance of the dirt road that said the "campground was closed" which was pretty unusual, cuz it looked like an official state forest styled wood sign, dont understand why they would make a permant sign that said it was closed, both these sign looked like they had been there for a few few years. anyways, right across the entrance of the dirt road was another trailhead for hunting I believe, I stayed there instead. did't see any prohibitive signage.
