$6pp now to car-camp. Appreciated the [pleasant] live, loud music next door warning, went until midnight on Saturday, signage said wed/Fri/sat. Shady and spacious parking, a good option if you want to stay in the town. $18 for a room for 2. Would recommend for camping, but the rooms looked pretty dank and full of mosquitos.

Still open, still a great cheap option in the centre of town. Updated prices: $22 for double room with private bathroom, $14 or $15 for private room shared bathroom (prices quoted for a couple). Safe moto parking.

Still possible to camp in van. Flat spots, safe and gated. Bathroom with tp, and hot shower, not very clean. You can use kitchen, outdoor tables and hammock. Good WiFi. Right in the center of town. $10 per night.

Super simple and super awesome. Excellent staff/owner attention. One block off centro, cheap really good eats within walking. Pet friendly, hot showers, big people watching balcony. $10 bucks USD with private bathroom or $8 public bathroom, can’t beat it for the price! They don’t allow rig parking but motos just fine. Safe secure parking.

We stayed 5 nights for $5 per person per night. Showers were hot, we drank the water without issue after being told it was potable, WiFi okay. Location perfect for exploring town, however it is on the main highway with many loud vehicles from 5:30 in the morning till 11 at night. Only issue was that the managing family had a party Saturday night in the courtyard that lasted until 6am.

Legit, cheap. My only issue was the entrance, my van is low and the concrete at the entrance gate changes 3X and sure enough it snagged my catalytic converter and had to have it welded down the street. Communal kitchen, dark.

decent place. went to a few others around and this had the best price/location. WiFi good, bathroom decent. 100m from the square with plenty of bars and restaurants.

We did the marathon drive from Peru to Ecuador today, so this place was like an oasis! But we will just stay one night - there are so many tempting options in the surrounding area that offer more beauty for the same price. Very noisy on a Saturday night because of the surrounding gringo bars... I wonder if all the hippie gringo tourism going on in this otherwise peaceful town is negatively affecting the longevity of the locals yet?

It's a good place to stay some relaxing days. Nothing special, but a lot of birds.

I paid 10 it was fine. Getting electricity was not easy but with a long extension it is possible. Very close to the town.

5USD. Comfortable and convenient place to stay. WiFi not great but Hotel La Jardín Escondida just north of the square had excellent WiFi and a great courtyard to sit around in.

Camping on parking lot enclosed by the rooms. Also has a kitchen and shelter area. Price unchanged.

Probably the best RV camping in Villcabamba!
They let you stay in the garden of the hotel. Toilet, shower, electricity and fast Wifi. There is room for approx. 4 vans.
Just one block of main plaza - perfect for visiting Villcabamba!
$ 5.-/person and night.
