Nice state campground along the Big Horn River. The campground is shaded by huge cottonwood trees providing nice relief along with the winds that blow through the canyon. Several people fishing but no one catching! The sites are large and well spaced.
Pit toilets and fresh water
Sites require online reservations May-Sept. With all the extra required fees, it ends up being $40/night if you're not a WY resident.

Nice state park campground. Very clean pit toilets, no cell service but pretty good wi-fi
Report Check-InAmazing state park. Employees are awesome and many campgrounds to choose from. Beautiful area to explore and it was buggy but I love it.
Stayed in the lower area by tunnel with amazing water view.
Road noise until nite.
No cell service but the camp host Gordon allowed me to use his Star link!
Yeah it’s 34 bucks but I enjoyed the place:)
Report Check-InI was excited about staying at one of the Boysen SP campgrounds, but then I realized it would be $40 for a basic site as an out-of-stater.
You have to pay a campsite fee ($18) PLUS the day-use fee ($12) PLUS an $8 reservation fee (online reservations are required May-Sept), plus a lodging tax, according to their state park website (see screenshot in pics).
Absolutely ridiculous.
Report Check-InWhat a diamond little noise from road until dark then quite. River is so clear and clean running low as runoff hasn’t started yet
