Great overnight spot. The water is really low so there were no fisherman in the morning. Quiet and felt safe (two women traveling together) once we arrived. The drive in is a relatively tame dirt road, I would recommend 4x4 just because it’s all dirt for ~1.5 miles. You’ll know you’ve arrived once you see the Silver Creek Hunting/fishing sign.

chilly night with just enough room to set up a tent without snow underneath it, althought it was quite muddy. road in has some patches of snow and mud, easy to get through with 4wd and high clearance. youd be fine in the dry season without either of those.

Great spot, lovely sunset, crazy awesome stars, dead quiet. Made it easy in my sedan and I had good coverage with t-mobile. Would stay again!

beautiful spot for the night. had the place to ourselves aside from a couple geese. it is on private property that owners have allowed people to access for finishing and overnight use so be respectful of the space. also had great service on tmobile(we do use a booster though)

Nice spot for a night, very quiet.
Easy to find, only had two cars passing by. Had a herd of deer come by in the morning.

Nearly dry in September. Sign as you come in says private land open to the public courtesy of Baker Ranch Inc. Camping fair game!

Beautiful spot on an easy to access road. Lots of spots all up and down the road. Found a spot right next to a creek. No one else around that we could tell. Didn’t see or find the actual reservoir. Went to sleep with the sound of frogs and the smell of sage.

Lots of places for small rigs, had to sleep uphill in our 32' TT. Good spot for the night!

Got here after dark and stayed the night before going to Great Basin. Google maps is a bit off but we didn’t have trouble finding it even at night

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night, exactly as described. Beautiful stargazing, great sunset over the mountains, and very close proximity to great basin national park. Perfectly quiet, a little bit of 3G signal on Verizon, not enough to stream or anything.

Report Check-In

Small reservoir with easy camping. No shade but very quiet. Take a hike north approximately 1/2 mile to see an old homestead. Neat history! Easy access to Great Basin NP
