Stays of up to three nights are permitted along the 8 mile long beach.
RV, tent and other types of camping are permitted.
Some portable toilets & trash cans.

Great spot for beach camping. Plenty of solid sand for driving and parking away from the water. If you come before Jan. 1 you don’t need a beach permit but make sure you stop to get one after 12/31. Stripes near the 1A access will have them.

Great public beach, tent camping and enjoying the waves! Lots of porta potties and trash cans along the beach.

Not much people on a mid-December week night, so very quiet. Didn't have to pay the 12$ permit because they don't sell it anymore at this time of year. Still called the Chamber of Commerce to make sure I won't get a ticket! The number is 361-749-5919.

Superlong beach. Totally crowded on the weekend. Easy to drive with 2WD. Beach parking permit for USD 12 available at every Stripes. Showers and pittoilets available.
