Description
Free 12 sites right on water, picnic tables, fire rings, boat launch and pit toilets on a medium size fishing lake. Lake is ok for swimming, little cool today at 20’C but refreshing.

Report Check-InVery nice free campground right next to the lake. Almost all spots are right next to the water, lovely for swimming, kayaking. There is a dock as well. 2 very clean pittoilets. Only 3 or 4 spots suitable for big rigs.
We stayed here for 4 nights. There were always 2/3 spots still available while we were here. This is our favorite spot in Canada so far!
I rumbled over Bonaparte Road via 70 Mile House. It shook my truck camper quite a bit, since it is an unpaved road with many potholes. If you don't trust your vehicle to do that, you should drive over the 24. At 18 o'clock in the evening, in the middle of May was already quite busy here. Really nice here. Certainly a great place to swim, but still way too cold now.

Report Check-InSuper spot le long du lac. On peut entendre les loups le soir au coucher du soleil. L'endroit est très calme et il y a des emplacements avec tables de picnic et barbecue à disposition. Toilettes sèches sur place. L'accès est simple par une gravel road assez courte.
Report Check-InBeautiful little free campground not too far from the main road - you can legally stay here up to 14 days at a time. Lots of spots, each with a fire pit and picnic table. Pit toilet near the entrance - you will see the sign for it from the road. It was very smoky and a bit cool while we were here so no swimming for us but I’m sure it would be a great swimming lake. Tried fishing with no success. A couple of gorgeous loons on the lake.
