We popped by to try to find somewhere to camp at Hentiesbaai during busy season (a fruitless task as it's a very popular place during the festive season!) and quickly turned back as there is a bar right at the entrance of the campsite which was blaring out electronic music at 5pm, and had plenty of drunk teenagers outside. Campsites looked pretty crowded too. Wouldn't recommend for a peaceful night's sleep!

Campsite surrounded by garage boxes. Every site has it's own toilet and bathroom which can be locked.
At night there was loud music till early in the next morning. It turns out that there is an very popular bar just opposite to the campsite.

N$300 for two adults and two kids.

Because of the Bad Story in Buck s Camp (attack) we decided to Go Here. The Place is sourrounded By a high Stone Wall like a Castle. But the Main gate seems to be weak. Everything is brand new and well working and absolutly clean. Water, electricity is also working. You have your own kitchen,shower and clean WC. Everything you can lock with your Own key. We were the only guests but the stuff told us That the would sleep here also. The Night was absolutly calm and peaceful. In the evening we Went to one of the extraordinär phantastic Fish restaurants in the town. We payed 300 for 2 pers. and campervan.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Kitchen and bathroom clean and new. There is a two plate stove, fridge and kettle in the kitchenette. Neat braai on the side. Wifi is at the office. There is a bar, but it was closed due to covid. Lazarus was really friendly and assisted where he could.

If you are tired to drive further this is a very good stop for 1 night. All is clean, owner is friendly and there are restaurants around. The price is ND 300 for 2 people.

Functional campsites in walled-in industrial zone grounds without any romantic appeal, but very good and clean amenities including hot shower, kitchen, fridge, toilet in brick shed. 300 N$ per campsite out of season, 600 N$ per campsite up to 4 person in December and on long week-ends.
