We stayed one night 2p and motorhome and paid ARS 3,000.
Sites with electricity and table. Toilets ok., but not very clean. Hot showers. Perfect location close to town.

Report Check-In

Excelente lugar para dejar la casilla y salir a recorrer, cerca del centro de Tilcara , la vista de las montañas increíble

Rosmarie&Peter
We stayed 3 days, plenty of space, some other campers. Hot showers, quite clean, but better than others in this country! Price okay 3500 p for 2!
We don’t know why foreign travelers always are complaining about prices in poor countries. Argentina has an inflation of 100 %!!!

Report Check-In

Actually stayed next door. Please ignore

Report Check-In

Worst and expansivst campsite we ever had! 1500 ARG per night for 2 and our Truck. dirty toilets and showers, lot of garbage everywhere and definitly not friendly 😔

Report Check-In

it is ok but the one next to it is better.
(go left After the réception)
it is 800 pp +200 for the van

Report Check-In

Only one other camper here. 700p for two people and camper. Electricity. No wifi. Hot shower but no latches on doors. Easy walk into center of town.and groceries. No staff until the next morning - just go in and settle in a place. Lots of room. Carnival ongoing so town was hectic.

Report Check-In

It was 700 pesos for 2 people + the van for one night. It was hard to find it using Google Maps, it kept sending us a different way. Really nice views. Basic facilities and plenty of green space to park. No Wi-Fi or signal for us. Easy walk to town and very quiet at night.

Report Check-In

Nice spacious campsite with cliff views, grassy with plenty of shade trees. Easy stroll to town. Good hot showers and fairly clean (one of 3 ladies loos even has seat!) 500 for 2 in car with tent.

Report Check-In

Very quiet and spacious. Trees, grass, a nice change from the desert! Hot shower. Dirty toilet. NO wifi! There's no wifi in the campground, and the lady in the hotel says their WiFi cannot be used by people from the campground.

Report Check-In

Its clean an silent. A lot of space, hot showers.
700 peso for 2 people + 1 MH.
A lot of shops , restaurants nearby

Report Check-In

As mentioned before, there are trees and quite a lot of grass. Hot shower and good toilet. But it's not so easy to find a cosy place to stay, maybe because everything is randomly scattered all over the place.

Report Check-In

Price now $150/person plus $150/car. Huge inflation 1 USD = 37 ARS.

Report Check-In

Quiet, huge, just 3 cuadras from the Center and a 20 minute walk to the pukura. Bathrooms not so clean but okay. We paid 500 Pesos for four adults and two Kids.

Report Check-In

5-6 blocks away from the main plaza, tucked away in an alley-like street, its a rather large property with some shade, decent bathrooms and showers with great hot water. No wifi, not much lighting and about to raise prices. Currently charging $80 per pax + $40 per vehicle.

Report Check-In

básico! con mucho ruido a la noche.

Report Check-In

80 pesos for a car + 60 pesos per people. Good campsite. Lot of space, big trees providing shade, grass (not everywhere, some holes in the lawn), water, electricity, quiet, clean bathroom, and hot shower. There are also sinks for washing your clothes close to the bathroom. Almost full marks for me.

The only one bad point, the wind. I don't know if it was the average weather or not. There are big trees but no edges. So it can be quite windy. And since some spots have no grass, when the wind is strong, it can be dusty.

Report Check-In

Current price is 100 pesos pp + 60 for the camper. I didn't stay for this price.

Report Check-In

Hot showers. Clean bathrooms. It wasn't dusty. There is a few grassy areas. Free wood to make fire. 80ARS p/p. No extras for the motorcycle. Friendly owner.

Report Check-In

This is a fine campground if you want to explore the cute little town. We paid $200 pesos (about $12us). The bathrooms were clean and they did have showers but we did not use them. Plenty of flat spaces for parking. No one else was there when we were there so it was very quiet at night.

Report Check-In

Camping que cuenta con lo básico. luz, ducha caliente, enchufes, zona de picnic y quinchos. 80 pesos argentinos p.p. el lugar muy amplio y cómodo. sin internet

Report Check-In

no wifi 80 ARS/Pers.+ 50 ARS for the motor-home

Report Check-In

We were charged 80 pesos per person to tent camp here and we had two motorcycles, no charge extra for those. If you like the desert environment this is the place! Do not come here expecting lush, tropical landscape with a neverending field of grass. Not as dusty as previously reviewed. There are plenty of large trees to set up underneath for shade/rain protection. Stores, markets, and bars are approximately 5 minutes walk from the campsite. Clean bathrooms.

Report Check-In

All as before but we were charged 90pp and 50 for the vehicle?? Correction 70pp and 50 for vehicle.

Report Check-In

big campground but a bit sady and dusty like all the landscape around. it's not so bad how other visitors describe it. Showers are clean and hot, and there is power at most of the lightposts. We paid 50 Pes. p/p and 60 Pes. for our Motorhome. Direct after you have driven over the bridge turn right and then approx. 200m stright ahead. warning! you can't visit this town at the weekend, because some people make such a loud music from 8 pm until 3 or 4 am that it hurts you, unbelievable !

Report Check-In

There is nothing "Jardin" like about this place. Unkempt... Although the shower was nice and warm. Camp here only in a real emergency. If I wasn't so beat I would have looked for something else.

Report Check-In

A previous poster said that this campground had a nice vegetable and flower garden but I didn't see them. Instead the camping area was dry, sandy and dusty. It was hard to find a flat spot for a tent, but campers and motor homes have plenty of space no matter what their size.
Prices were 80 pesos per person and 60 pesos for vehicles.
Has several brick bbqs and a number of portable charcoal grills. Lots of camping spots with concrete picnic tables and trees. Too bad most of the grass has withered away.

Report Check-In

Big place, toilets and showers were clean, nice and quiet night.

Report Check-In

New pricing (in Argentinean Pesos):
$50 per person
$40 per CAR
$60 per casa rodante (camping vehicle)

Close to main road (Ruta 9), so it get a bit of traffic noise (not too bad). Low wires make it difficult for tall rigs.

We left and free-camped outside town...

Report Check-In

40 per person + 30 per car. Bit old but ok.

Report Check-In

This is a huge campground with typical facilities for Argentina. Power outlets, grills and tables at every site. The night we camped here a rodeo setup shop right next to the campground. It was fun to watch but very noisy.
