Stayed 1 night in a minivan. It was Friday and busy. The first spot we saw was not inspiring with different many groups of people. We went further and found a spot right next to the river and really private. Toilets were clean. 15$ that you put in an enveloppe and in a box at the entrance.

Milner Rec Area- site 24- nice spot right on the river. Caught tons of small mouth bass! Toilets nearby, table, fire pit. Only issue is broken glass at site- why do people suck so much? Ugh! Anyways- peaceful place. Road in is newly paved. Easy to get to:)

As expected and similar to our previous visits in March and May 2021. Overnight price is now $15. Bathrooms are clean, pretty quiet and mostly empty on a Friday night. They added picnic tables to the campsites. fire pit available. Some trash strewn about, but not horrible. it's a simple way station for us between Oregon and Moab.

Totally worth the $5 stay, however they've got signs up saying that in 2022 the fee is increasing to $15

There were some campsites available, but a lot had broken glass, and not very suitable for dogs.

Pleasant dispersed sites along a reservoir on the Snake River. Cell coverage on Verizon. Pit toilets and garbage cans. Paved road to sites, good for any size rig

Really great place to camp for five dollars there's cows deer and fish in the lake. I just have to say the last few miles before getting in are dirt roads

Report Check-In

Scenic, well kept, directly next to river, no other people in March and clean pit toilets.

Great spot if you’re passing through for only $5. Spots are right on the river. It isn’t the most scenic place, but it’s well maintained. Plenty of pit toilets throughout the area. The road in was kind of rough and rutted but the park itself is paved. It can be kind of confusing to find camp spots - once inside Milner Rec Area look for other signs and roads that have different Rec Area names; that’s where you’ll find the sites.

Just to add our two cents... we really enjoyed this area with a few exceptions. We visited the last week of September and the flies were terrible at our site (20). Even with our bug nets we were chasing them down in our van. One flew into my ear! Aggressive little buggers. If I could pick, I’d say the most beautiful sites are 6, although you hear the hum from the dam at it if you care, and #24-26. It is not the *most* beautiful place we’ve stayed, but it was pretty and peaceful and very quiet. We heard a few shots from the nearby gun range but very seldom. There was quite a bit of trash at our site upon arrival that we picked up but I think it because the crew didn’t have a chance to clean between us and the last users. Also, for those that need it like us, we had excellent Verizon LTE and were easily able to stream video with AT&T. Our T-Mobile was spotty with one bar that worked great, except when it dropped for undetermined reasons.

Super great place to stay the night. if you have an RV, don't take the first right where the trap club is, take the second right about 1.5 miles down further. first right has a a bridge that has low clearance.

Beautiful flat terrain. Next to snake river. We got here at 8 PM on a Friday night in summer and got a spot right by the river. Tables, fire pits, and pit toilets. $5 night fee.
