Something not right?

Description

Lots of sites along this lake, unfortunately most are taken by RVs that seem to stay there permanently. Most likely area to find a site is right off the highway. Beautiful aside from the annoyance of some of the best sites being held permanently. Any car could reach these.

Great for a quick stop. Beautiful view. Only one other person there, but it is still the off season so I could see that not being the case much longer. The sites are close to the road to be prepared for a little road noise.

Lovely location but I am not sure if this ain’t private property but we hadn’t any issues at all.
We even had a dip it was just wonderful.

incredible spot! very quiet and felt safe. we stayed in the middle of the week so not busy at all, save for two other campers but there's plenty of space, even beyond this map point

Beautiful spot for a night or two. Loads of big RVs camped all the way around, some look like they’ve been there for a good while. We did a little squeeze and found a spot in our Skoolie.

Beautiful sites with only two other sites taken…. Pulled in at night and immediately found an amazing spot right next to the lake.

Nice place to stop for the nite very quiet lots of permanent trailers here. This is crown land free camping allowed up to 21 day.

We had a small visitor in the middle of the night in our cereals in the van. Turned out to be a mouse or maybe two. Although car was locked they found a small opening to come in. Don‘t know where they used to live before.

Report Check-In

nice spot overlooking the water. couple firepits. luckily there are quite a few places to park right now, seems some of the "seasonal" folks have left now.

Report Check-In

Perfect spot for one night. Firepit and small dock to easily access the water

Report Check-In

wayyy too full on a Saturday night. a local said the owners of some of the trailers don't come on weekends, and pointed out one we could probably block in. he also said some of the "permanent" residents were assholes. we decided not to see if he was right.

Report Check-In

On Crown Land but most spots taken on a almost permanent residence with 4 spots right along edge of lake and road. I was lucky and arrived on a wed afternoon but other 3 spots filled up thurs and fri. I stayed for 5 days Aug 17-22 a very nice spot

Belle place très près de la route, un peu bruyant à cause des camions mais tout de même agréable

Report Check-In

Beautiful location, quite a few trailers parked but there was only 1 other couple at the spot while I was here. Right off the hwy, very shady & on the water.

Found a nice spot by the lake, quiet on a weekday night. There are some RV trailers parked there, look like permanent campers. Highway is quiet at night.

Bel endroit. Beaucoup de caravane déjà en place, mais si tu continues. On a trouvé une place au bout du chemin.

great overnight spot by the road side. slight wind good view lots of trees for tarps flat ground.

We stayed here twice in November, one other camper both times. Although next to the road, it was very quite. Only a few vehicles passed. Beautiful spot.

its a good spot.... nice lake...im here in the off season so tgere seemed to be a few spots, but yes popular

Gorgeous place to camp. Plenty of trees to hang a hammock. The RVs are everywhere but I still easily found a spot right on the lake by the highway. Thankfully the families of the 3 RVs around me were gone. It is a loud area (other RVs, highway, and campground adjacent, and boats on the water until late.. even got fireworks around 9:30 from the campground residents), but it's gorgeous. I was only here for one night and I got to read in my hammock, go paddleboarding, and wake up to the most beautiful misty sunrise on the lake.

Report Check-In

Very crowded with permanent trailers, but if you can find a spot (directly off the road is your best bet) the lake has beautiful sandy beaches.

bookmarking to visit at a later date!! 🏕

Nice site. Lots of RVs, and lots of people. Very hard to get a place to stay, even in the off season. People have set up camp their permanently with their rigs, bathrooms, docks, and washrooms.

Nice spot. Easily accessible from the road multiple sites didn’t catch any fish.

Lovely spot! The road right next to it is not too busy. We swam in the lake and had a little fire. Would recommend coming during the week. I think there’s locals coming during the weekend. Full reception with Telus
