Multiple national forest camping sites, no services or cell service. Fire pits at each site, good privacy. Gravel forest service road in is fairly smooth, no AWD needed. Take Old Jonas Ridge from blue ridge parkway! Enjoy!

Actually four spots, all private. We were here late in the season and still found one occupied. must be pretty popular, especially in summer because there's enough shade. The two spots we were in are not very level.
Report Check-InAt the intersection of Pinola and Kawana Rd’s. Nice place, plenty of room for a group to camp. Water just down the hill. Two fire pits.
Report Check-InAs described, about 3 different sites with fire pits (from what I could tell). Intermittent 1 bar LTE on AT&T. All sites were full by 9PM on a Friday. Sites were relatively flat- but not big rig friendly.
