There are 2 huge gravel / paved parking lots that sit high above Butte. The views of the city at night are amazing. There are trails to the top of the mountain and surrounding area. Nice views during the day as well. Lots of people come here during the night..., just a warning.
We had excellent Verizon service here.

Report Check-InVery big parking lot, like everyone says, over looking the Town of Butte. I didn't sleep here, just parked for the day to work and Starlink was great. I also have 5G on TMobile and great cellular service. There are a lot of people coming and going as it is the trailhead to a nice short trail. A lot of dogs being walked off leash as well.
Report Check-InAmazing view, take a hike during sunset and watch the city light up afterwards and then leave. This was the first place that was so rowdy we left. Local kids get super drunk and were doing donuts super close to our rv. Go down the road to a quiet spot I pinned about a mile away.
Report Check-InParked up on a Friday night. Lots of cars with loud music coming through until midnight or so. Ear plugs were key! Fine for an overnight sleep with pretty views of the city and hiking right in the lot.

Report Check-InWe visited here but did not stay here. Didnt seem like a good overnight place, its a place where locals hang out, as we were going up the steep hill to it, a car sped past us up the hill. It was very unsafe! We stayed at homestake pass. It was very nice there. Numerous campers
Report Check-InLot is pretty rutted up, and tough to find a flat spot. There is a beautiful view of the town and surrounding mountains, but the college kids come out here all times of day / night to party and leave all of their trash thrown around. Not a bad stop over spot if you don’t mind the partying outside.
