RVs are not allowed to park here from 09H00 to 16H00 but no signs about the night. The parking is busy with cars moving all night, Public toilet are available during working hours.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
sleeping here tonight after eating lobster at the restaurant. would recommend. Asked at the restaurant also, they said it's no problem. not sure about high season though. (its windy!!)
Report Check-InQuiet night with no disturbances. Good to get up early before all the coaches arrive from the cruise ships.
Report Check-InUnbelievable spot to catch the blue moon! Large parking lot. Grab a meal at the restaurant. Slept well to the crashing waves! Washrooms during business hours and trash cans.
Report Check-InI backed in at the far end of the lot, the furthest away from the restaurant, so I could watch the sun rise out the back windows of the van in the morning. It was a mostly peaceful night with the exception of a large crowd that arrived after midnight and stayed for about an hour. OK cell signal on Rogers network. I enjoyed a bowl of chowder and a flight of local beers at the restaurant
Report Check-Inparking du visitor center ,il y a 2 places RV au fond du parking, les wc sont ouverts pendant les heures du visitor mais il y a 2 panneaux NO OVERNIGHT que l on n avait pas vu et on a passé la nuit du 24/08/23
l autre parking du dessus vers restau idem no overnight
rv's are not allowed 9H00 to 16H00 but no signs about the night. The parking is busy with cares moving all night and having Light posts but as long as you care more about sunsets, night and sunrise shooting then those- you are in the write spot.
public toilet are available during working hours.
They definitely don’t want people camping here overnight! Signs posted right at the entrance.
Report Check-InWe arrived at Peggy's Cove around 4pm.
Walked around a bit and did the tourist thing. We stayed with a few vans at the visitor information center untill about 7pm and moved to the big parking lot. There are signs at the visitor information center that overnight parking is not allowed. We had a great sleep and woke up to a beautiful sunrise and the sound of seagulls.
on est très bien placé dans le stationnement du resto près du phare tranquilité et beau coucher du soleil lever de la pleine lune et lever du soleil le matin wow
Report Check-InArrived around 11PM on a Sunday and there was still a lot of parking lots available! Super calm but a lot of mosquitoes. Beautiful sunrise view. Bathrooms only from 9AM to 9PM.
Report Check-InWent at 8pm to check it out, the carpark was still essentially full. We drove 5 mins down the road to the spot in West Dover, ended up staying there. Was also quite busy, about 6 different vehicles staying the night. Nice spot though, somewhat out of view from the road but not totally.
Report Check-Ingreat place to sleep but if you sleep in a car and you eant to open the window, be sure to get a mesh/net thing for the mosquitoes because there's a LOT, other thing would be people who had no respect, music super loud and screaming until like 11pm. NO TOILET FROM 9PM TO 9AM *******
Report Check-InGet’s busy for the sunset but clears out after that. Good spot for the night.
Report Check-InThis is the visitor parking lot. Check with the sou wester restaurant just to let them know you are there. very quiet.
Report Check-InNice parking slot, just close to the lighthouse, amazing sunset ! place to park a big rig, no noise, toilet open during day.
Report Check-InGreat location on flat paved lot by the visitor center. Yeah it can be crowded by other RVs but there’s plenty room for all.
Report Check-InLots of disruptions at night. Visitors blasting loud music, shouting and tearing around doing donuts in the parking lot. Very scary to have cars circling your vehicle doing donuts. Ok in a pinch, however if you can find another option I would suggest it.
Report Check-InArrived around 7pm as the sun was setting and there were about 20 cars. Only 2 of us stayed all night but there were cars coming and going almost all night. Some playing loud music, so it wasn't the most restful sleep. Quite windy as well but beautiful, especially at sunrise! Got very busy to the point there were no other parking spots around 10am.
The bathrooms are amazing! Multiple single room bathrooms that are clean with a big sink. The restaurant was open 10am-7pm on weekdays so I believe those were the hours of the bathrooms as well.
Report Check-InWe tucked ourselves away in the corner facing east so we could watch the sunrise from the comfort of our van. There were a few people who arrived early to watch as well. We had a quiet night here and loved having the village to ourselves after a beautiful sunset last night.
My husband spent some time fishing from the wharf but didn’t have any luck.
Stayed one night at the parking lot of peggy's cove. There was 3 other cars parked as well during the night. I was there a saturday night so there was a lot of people coming in and leaving peggy's cove until like 2am (lot of noises; people talking, screaming, car comin in and out). It was quiet after that.
Report Check-InAsked to stay and it was no issue as it is out of busy season. Busses start by 8am so you have to doge their parking spots. Good food in the restaurant. We were the only ones here.
Report Check-InStayed the night without any troubles. Qiute at night but really (!!!) busy during the day. The first cars arrived at 5.30am to see the sunrise. But if the waether is good it's really worth it to get up early and see the sunrise!
Report Check-InAsked permission first.
Cars come in around 6AM for sunrise.
If you get in too early in the day, there might be no parking available. You have to be back around 9PM when the restaurant closes.
Very quiet at night.
Report Check-InNice place to stay, some cars are passing by during the night as it is a busy place.
You can walk up to the visitors center to get wifi. There are toilets in the restaurant which are free to use.
Beautiful, quiet spot with ocean views close to the lighthouse. And when your up early, before the tourists arrive, Peggy’s Cove is a picture perfect Nova Scotia village.
Report Check-InParking lot next to the light house. Ask in the restaurant! Not allowrd in high season.
