The coordinates aren’t actually for the camp spot but on the gravel road that leads there. From the Hwy, Take East Fork Road just pass the Dixie Forest sign then turn left following the signs to Dave’s Hollow. There is a group camp right when you turn in and solo spots further up the road . Decent cell service, some with fire pits. If you follow this road and take a left at the Fork, it goes the back way to Bryce Canyon. There were also some spots going right to Blue Fly Creek.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Not accurate coordinates, we finally found the spot, but it seems to be private.
I highly recommend to go to dispersed USFS campsite on road 117, only few miles further Bryce Canyon.
NOTE: Road Closed (assume temporarily due to seasonal thaw that just occured). Other teavellors with 4wd car went past the sign and did get to the sites but extremely muddy, slippery and they returned to our spot. Don't recommend it for any RV until road dries out. Only able to go about 1 mile south off Hwy 89. Several small (-20 ft) RVs camped along roadside near 'closed' sign.
Report Check-InA previous poster must have navigated from a different road when they said it was a long drive on a rough road. I entered the coordinates in Google Maps and it was exactly 1 mile from Route 12 and E. Fork Rd (look for Bryce Wildlife Adventures on the corner), it took three minutes. The road was an excellent shape, not washboard. I arrived at 9:30 PM, didn’t see a camping access off FR091 for the posted coordinates so drove a little further and found a short dirt track (also in good shape) off of the forest service road up a hill near a cattle loading pen.
The area with the cattle loading pen is marked no trespassing, private property and is fenced. The area and front where I parked was not. The coordinates I measured were 37.691819, -112.211169, elevation 7677 feet.
I camped here in a 2 wheel drive campervan.
Added to photos for reference, 1st with cattle loading pens in background, 2nd of dirt track I accessed from FR091.
Report Check-InLOOOONG Drive down a dirt road that’s got gravel and it’s rather earthquake like. Beautiful campsites once you arrive. 16 day limit. Three bars of 5G
