Huge parking lot next to the woods. The centre was closed so we could not ask if it’s ok but there is no sign which prohibits overnight parking.
There are probably toilets and maybe even showers inside.
Also good Shaw Internet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Pool, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness center and shower! About $8Canadian per person. Great for relaxing after the road. We asked if it is possible to sleep just one night in the parking lot in our van. They are not supposed to accept but they tolerated that we stayed the night, perhaps because of the time (it was almost 9 p.m.), and we were still in low season so not many people in Rv around.
Report Check-InFree internet, large parking lot. I asked and was allowed. There a washroom to right when you enter. To use shower it’s another washroom past the reception which you can access after payment. Paid $8.30 to use facilities includes pool hot tub etc. I only used shower. Include free use of locker , they give you a token. Right by McDonald’s
Report Check-InOvernight parking is tolerated but technically not allowed. Apparently they had issues with people staying here too long. Decently quiet for a night
Report Check-InWhat an wonderful place! The parking lot is quite large and fairly level. The best thing is the reception! I asked about staying the night, expecting a yes, but got so much more! I was told I was welcome to come in and make use of the tables and chairs by the pool to charge devices, make use of the washrooms, given the hours of operation and then when I mentioned I’d be heading to Barkerville, was told about the bakery being open year round and a few other shops! Felt very welcome!
Report Check-InBeautiful center. Nice area. Gladly allowed RV overnight. For $6 I swam in the very nice indoor pool, used the hot tub and sauna, took a great shower and caught up with some wifi.
Report Check-InLike others have stated, nice location. Pretty quiet and not a lot of disruption. We arrived at 7p, rec center open till 10p during week. Asked for permission and was told no problem. We enjoyed the rec pool, $16.25 for 2 adults and 3 kids.Wlaking distance from McDonald's and there is a close dump station as well. We could not connect reliably to the WiFi but no problem for us.
Report Check-InPerfect very quiet place for overnight. Dinner in town then parked rig here
Report Check-InWe were there early enough to ask permission and got it. Almost-empty parking lot on right side of building Saturday night with a couple of other overnighters. Still $17.50 for two to access everything. Showers and lockers are in the changing room. Opens later on Sunday mornings. (Quesnel, BC)
Report Check-InWe pulled in at 10 pm. Everything was closed. Parking lot was empty except for a few parked vehicles - no vans or RVs. Around the corner from the Visitors Centre. Large parking lot shared with several other buildings and Pioneer Cemetery. No signs o indicate no overnight parking.
Report Check-InSpent a quiet night except for 15 minutes of squealing tires from some local kids in their cars around midnight. Otherwise a quiet peaceful night. Rec center was closed when we arrived so could not check if it was ok to park. We were the only RV in the lot.
Report Check-InStayed here one night. No troubles. Did not use the facilities. Found that the ShawGuest internet dropped out a lot. But we didn't park close to the building.
Report Check-Infast internet, showers and toilets
please note its 17.50 for two people to gain access to services
