Description

Nice backyard near Mariposa Sanctuary.
Pool and restaurant. Only bathroom, showers cost extra.
We paid 300 pesos/night for 2 people to camp inside the hotel property. Everything looks really nice and well-maintained. Also they have big gates which made us feel safe. If you enter with a big rig be sure to take the east entrance. Everyone is really friendly. The hotel has a pool and a restaurant but no showers. Good stay if you pass by and want to visit the area.

Latest Check-Ins

This is a nothing location but we needed a place to spend the night and we did feel safe. It’s an expensive parking lot that was pretty full during our stay. There was a wedding party who woke us up several times in the night, but that’s probably not normal. We enjoyed walking the food stalls lining the road near the hotel. Don’t go out of your way for it.

Stopover. Well-kept facility, but hardly any guests. 300 pesos/night/vehicle.

Report Check-In

As described. The best place to spend a night near Sanctuario el Rosario for bigger rigs or trailers. As the road up the hills closer to the Butterflies is narrow and might be tricky. The restaurant is open from 8 to 10 pm, the swimming pool till 6 pm. The grounds are nice, wifi on all the premises. There are toilets, but they dont offer showers anymore.

Nice place to stay for couple of nights while visiting butterfly sanctuaires. No electricity at campsite but nice reception area to charge electronics and use wifi. Good reception at campsite. Clean washrooms. Friendly, helpful staff. 300 pesos per night.

stood here before and after visiting the butterflies. no need to spend the night in 3000 m altitude.

this place is very beautiful with clean toilets. for shower we discussed with the not so friendly lady at the front desk, that 300 peso without shower is still too much. in whole mexiko you get a free room if it is available. than the lady opened a room for us. so don't hesitate to ask. in a few weeks it will be normal for them to offer a shower.

checked in there for 300 p.p.night. just 1 more camper. looked quiet good WiFi

Pulled in here because it was getting dark and there are not many options around here.

300p to park the van in the guarded walled hotel. They have very clean bathrooms, a restaurant, and a bar. Decent WiFi too.

Worth the piece of mind and decent food and beer after a long drive through Michocan.

Beautiful place- very nice staff
Mariposas: 40 min by car + 30 min walking
To get to the Hotel: dont use Maps.me or google, they bring you trough the pampa. Streets not possible to use by Big rigs.
I gave the Navi „pemex 977“ and you come on the 15 close to the hotel. 500 Meters more and the hotel is on the right side.
Welcome in Paradise !

Nice place, friendly people and particularly great for kids with a super play area. But if you're a couple looking for an easy night stop, 300 pesos is a bit expensive, given that there are no showers and there's no WiFi reaching to the camp area. We were able to find a hose to fill our tank.

Report Check-In

we found it convinient location to visit the butterflys.

Report Check-In

A peaceful and very secure place to spend the night. All as described, only thing to add is there were no showers available even at an additional price but there is a huge playground which our young children loved.

It was a perfect place for our 24 feet motorhome. We asked and were able to dump, refill water tank and eat at the nice restaurant. 300$ pesos/night!

Great place from which to visit the area. Parked our trlr on grassy area. Wanted 300Pesos. Negotiated a room rate for 2 nights & no charge to park trlr.
Didn't have to run generator. Nice room Hot water. Beautiful facilities.
The note below about the entrances is important. If you are travelling with a motorhomw or trailer coming from Itzacaro, when you see the Hotel sign swing wide & take the first turn in. NOT THE MAIN ENTRANCE, which is a little further ahead. there is no room to maneuver in the Main Entrance!!
