Lots of parking along a street in an industrial area. A few fulltimers here. Quiet at night. We heard that police will not bother vehicle dwellers if they park in an industrial area, so we chose to stay here instead of the many parking lots and residential areas marked on this app. Stayed a few nights, no problems. No signs prohibiting parking or about street sweeping.

Great industrial camping after business hours, other people were parked and seemed to give off a pretty safe energy passing through here. Any size vehicle can overnight here, but recommend not overstaying welcome to allow future camping here. Street camping is a privilege in the county you are in!
Report Check-InSuggest coming in after 5pm and leaving before 9am. Police get called from time to time when too many RVs and vans park here during business hours.
Stay here from time to time, but not when I notice 2 or more people staying parked there for 2+ days.
Report Check-InUpdate: Got woken up by police at first light in the morning. They gave everyone in the industrial area a warning and we had to move on again. Friendly officer advised us to avoid this place for a while.
Report Check-InGot in here late as we got kicked out at Home Depot nearby. Lots of cars, vans and RVs around. Looks like this is the place to stay in the area.
Report Check-InDecent place to stay the night. Quieted down after 11 pm, but tons of road noise starting early in the morning.
Report Check-InNear the maintenance for school buses area. Pretty quiet at 5:45 pm on a Friday.
Report Check-In100% best place to stay in SD. Lots of parking all over in the industrial streets. There are some areas with more noise than others, but I felt this is the last area to be harassed by cops
Report Check-InNo hassle quiet area. Clairemont is an Asian community and has tons of great foods! Easy access to freeways and 10min drive to Downtown and the beach.
Report Check-Inmany car-dwellers here, did not get bothered the night I stayed. people pulling in and pulling out all night, its not too much if you are used to hearing vehicles park close.
Report Check-InStayed here for a night. No one bothered us. Some other vans, cars, and RVs parked along here. Lots of flat area. Felt safe.
