Something not right?

Description

Camel raceways have the advantage that they are free of garbage, because the precious animals must not come into contact with it. Normally, both sides of the raceway runs an asphalt track (on which the carrier vehicles driving) and on the outside side is a 12 m wide sandbag on which one can stay without disturbing someone. It's wonderful quiet here! 4G.

Latest Check-Ins

During the week a few camels train but on Friday there are races and it's great: The camels and trainers arrive just before sunrise for preparation and warm-up, then the races start at 8am. They then follow each other every 10 minutes. There is plenty of room to park and observe. The locals were super friendly and proud to show us their teams. Beautiful morning!

Report Check-In

We found it no problem. It seems a long way down the road but it is on the corner of the track and where they gather the camels for the morning run, so nice place to see them. The trainers and security passed us in the evening and morning with no fuss. Just ensure you are back from the tarmac trainers road. It is nice and dark and very little traffic on main road. It is February and super cold and a bitter wind. It is exposed here. There is NO facilitates and you can’t dig a hole for the toilet. Please take your rubbish and there is some and it should not be!! There is NO charge to stay here but I would say not a long term spot.
