Uganda
From here to Buhomo/Bwindi its an approx 100 km dirt road south in bad condition, but passable. From here to the turnoff near Katunguru north-east its 27 km with stretches of tar, dirt, and mincemeat looking mud and plenty of potholes of all sizes.

Not so bad of a road. You can do a good 30 kph easy, sometime 40. Deflate your tires a bit, it will be more comfortable...
A bit bumpy, some potholes every so often but thats just a regular african piste. Nothing to be worried about.
We saw lots of different monkeys,
bokkies, buffalos...
Still a bad road. Nothing undoable but a lot of holes and bumps due to wash aways. All gravel/dirtroad, except one small part of tar at this point. So take your time. From Katoke to the junction at Katunguru took us 2- 2.5 hours for 70 kilometres. Scenery is nice, but gets a bit boring after a while.
Report Check-InCurrently the road isn't so bad. From here to norh is tar and they are preparing the gravel road to south. Only the last App. 20 km are
in bad condition. But unfortunately we saw no animals in this Part of road.
It is definetly one of the worst road we had during our travels. Ofc it is worth because of the great landscape and the animals and we would like to get in the northern part od QENP but it is exhausting. May be it was getting worse after the bad raining season in 2020.
Report Check-InIt rained heavily and a day later it is really not that bad, not great but slow going with some bad patches with mud and holes with water but thats it and it is a beautiful drive so don’t be put off by some other people’s idea of the road conditions.
