Something not right?

Description

Campground in the backyard. The flat spots are rare and there are stones in the ground. Best camping is on small platforms that fit a single tent only. Not protected by the wind. Bathroom with very small hot shower. Kitchen with pots and pans but no knives. Wifi doesn't work. Nice, warm common area. Camping in the tent is $7000 per person. There would not be space for a camper or a large tent. Roosters will wake you up before sunrise and there are chickens roaming the camping area.

The place has wooden platforms for tents, you can pitch your tent directly on the ground if you prefer. It has a kitchen equipped with gas, kitchen utensils, WiFi and electricity. It also has containers to separate waste. Electricity is generated by photovoltaic panels. Bathrooms with showers with always hot water.

Report Check-In

I would not recommend staying here. There are small platforms to pitch tents that hardly fit a 2 man tent, and all the ground between is overgrown and uneven, so you can’t pitch a tent. The showers are dirty, and the place smells of compost. There are chickens kept right by the campsite so you will be woken up before dawn my roosters. The whole place also seems to be a construction site at this time, and the lady who checked us in was quite rude, telling us we didn’t speak Spanish as soon as we arrived, I assume she based this off our looks as we had not spoken…
On the plus side, the common room is nice.

Just confirming previous posts, nice place, very friendly young people running it

Report Check-In

Seems they are doing some work to renew everything. Cannot enter with a camper or anything higher than 2m, so we didn't stay.

Nice campsite 5000$. Eco friendly (lots of recycling which is great). Showers were warm but no hot water in the kitchen/bathroom sinks. Kitchen is basic, not much equipment. WiFi was good enough for a Skype video call. Friendly owner Karina phoned friends to help me book a glacier hike. Recommended!

good campground with nice owner. the main panaderia of Puerto Tranqillo is in the back of the comon room. If you are there in right moment you can buy warm bread dircetly out of the stove.
showers are working, but it looks worn out. Dont expect too much, especially when afraid of some dirt in the bathrooms and the kitchen.

Camping ground in the backyard. The flat spots are rare and there are stones in the ground. They have big stones there for setting up the tent instead. Not protected by the wind. Bathroom with hot shower. Kitchen with pots and pans but no knives. Wifi doesn't work when crowded. Nice, warm common area.
Camping in the tent is $5000 per person.
I don't know how much it is for the camper.

Report Check-In

It is ok as budget option. Everything works, but looks cheap and worn-out.
They are friendly and helpful.

Report Check-In

quite ok for the price, they had water problems at the toilets/showers for a couple of days though, just a couple of hours a day but nothing that bad.

Report Check-In

Hot showers, warm indoor kitchen and dining with couches. $4.000 pp. Very windy days!

Report Check-In

we tried to stay here, but no space for bigger camper then a vw bus.

Report Check-In

Basic and at 4,000 pesos it is as cheap as you'll get. Camp ground is a bit stoney and if busy then good areas will be taken, leaving only uneven parts. Large enough kitchen/seating area if not too many people. Wifi ok. 5 min walk to supermarket.

Report Check-In

Small campsite but very well cared for. The communal room is nice and warm. Showers are hot and clean. Internet is slow. Owner speaks some basic English
