Mexico
right across the road from the Gran Festival is public beach access with parking on the grass, just hop the curb. There are steps to the beach and a restaurant called La Casa de Piedra where there are banos and cool showers for 10p. right on the beach with awesome view. good telcel reception.

buen lugar para pasar la noche
tranquilo solo un poco ruido de carros pero nada que te quite el sueño
Perfect for one night, lovely beach and the restaurant on the right of the parking lot ( facing the beach) is shabby but excellent service and super nice guy who speaks English works there and lives above it looks out for you. Showers are 10 pesos!
Report Check-InOvernight camping is allowed in public parking access between private homes and restaurants. Feels safe, locals we spoke to said many people, foreigners and Mexicans alike, camp during the weekend. Not much shade, but washrooms (baños) are available nearby for 5 pesos and showers (regaderas) for 10 pesos. We camped 3 nights there, the cars are noisy but the sounds of the waves will put you to sleep.
Report Check-InWe are staying in a dirt lot just down from the last entry. Asked at the restaurant close by and they said it was fine to camp here. The sound of the waves drowns out the cars. Free!
