Reasonably flat, in front of the lake and silent! We have slept in 4 different spots in natales and finally we found a silent place to sleep (and we slept on a Saturday night) it has no wind protection and we are in the middle of a storm but is OK. Just came here if you want a goodnight sleep. You're welcome ;)

While all the campings are already closed for the season, we came here. We were the only ones. Night was calm. There is a housing area construction on the opposite side of the street so the traffic was quite heavy in the morning. Lots of birds, also flamingos!

Report Check-InGreat views indeed, and grassy, so better than the parking spots in town still, but there's a lot of shattered glass laying around so be careful if you have pets, and absolutely zero wind protections so maybe check the forecast if you're in a rooftop tent!

In our case they are starting construction work so various heavy machinery driving around.
We arrived a Sunday night and had a great night. We saw one or two cars nearby, probably locals, but no one bothered us and soon leave. It's flat and with no wind cover. Few traffic on the road, very silent space.
Chegamos num domingo a noite e foi bem tranquilo. Alguns carros estavam por perto, provavelmente locais, mas não incomodaram e logo foram embora. O local é bem plano e não tem proteção contra o vento. Não tem nenhuma estrutura, é apenas um local tranquilo para dormir. O barulho da estrada não incomoda.
Report Check-InDefinitely flat, but definitely not the best place to park. It’s a big area, with no wind protection and there was a car blasting their music all night long by our van. It was also covered in litter in the area which is a shame. We did however see flamingos in the morning which was a delight!

Report Check-InWe stayed here one night. Two other overlanders were here and three big trucks, which provided good wind protection. The views are very nice, blacknecked swans and even flamingos in the morning! Watch out for glass on the ground. The (Thursday) night started very quiet, but unfortunately there was some disturbance from cars with loud music hanging around at midnight and one at 1:45am. Apart from that it was a good place to stay the night of you need to be close to the city.
Report Check-InGreat free spot at the seaside. A lot of space and all flat. Quite windy of course and no wind protection at all. And be careful, there's a lot of broken glass! Enjoy the views!

It was perfect to sleep with our van
We arrived in the evening and had loud music till 1.30am. I think guys were on drugs. An hour before leaving one of them was puking for an hour.
We had good weather, warm, perhaps that is the reason we had quite some cars. Really don't understand why after leaving, news car have to arrive and park specifically next to us when the parking lot is nearly empty. This already happened in multiple areas. Must be Chilean thing!?!
Views in this place are great, but it's also very open and no facility. I mean, if you want #2 you will have to do the show or wait till it's dark :D

Indeed great place. Very large ripio parking lot but so big if you park at the back you’re closer to the lake than to the road. Somewhat in the periphery of town and indeed very calm.
No wind at all when we were there.
