Argentina
Parador for motorhomes and cyclists, space for tents too.
It has just opened and is still under construction.
The couple running the place and living here are very kind and help with everything you might need. They are overlanders too and made this place available for people who want to relax and have a secure place to stay with no noises around. It is on the death end of the unpaved road uphill.
There is 1 toilet with hot shower 24h and 1 sink with hot water, but it is very rustic!
Alejandro and Poli have 2 small kids and a little dog, 2 cats 1 horse and welcome people with animals.
There are many trees giving shadow. I could fill my water tank too.
Currently 300 pesos/person per night.
Electricity available for connecting your van or charging phone, and blow dryer in the toilet.
Alejandro can also help with little things that needs to be fixes on your vehicle, he doesn’t charge much for help.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Stayed here for two nights. Alejandro (the owner) is very friendly and keen to help you out if you're having any problems with your car. The spot itself is actually meant for motorhome storage, and becomes oportunistically a camping place. The terrain is pretty bumby and it's hard to get your van leveled, but nothing too bad. We payed $ 10.000 for two and the rv, which is a bit expensive for what you get; however, it's also high season, so ok for that.
Report Check-InNice place but really rustic. So for traveller that adapt quickly.
People were really friendly. There were some camper van and I was with the bicycle.
Better with Van than bicycle in my opinion because to arrive the path is around 2km of gravel road going up … I was struggling to arrive! After 80/90km riding. But honestly people were amazing and really friendly. So it depends from what are you looking for.
The owner is very friendly, the place is a nice looking forest-like camping at the end of the road. Excellent hospitality. Just be careful if you bring an RV, the entrance is uphill so check the road before entering, to make sure your vehicle can handle it.
Report Check-InAfter sending a WhatsApp we confirmed that the place is open and costs 4000 per car. There is very simple and rustic bathroom with hot shower and a toilet. Good enough for one night.
Report Check-InVery good stay at this campsite. The couple are always ready to help. They were great tips for making changes to our vehicle. We recommend this campsite 100% The price to date for two people and a van 4000 Pesos
Report Check-InWe went there with our van, but nothing said there is still a camping (and didn't see anyone to ask)... Maybe they closed for the pandemia ! Maybe try calling before (coming from north, we didn't had phone signals before)
Report Check-InGreat place and peacefull! I stayed 7 nights as Poli and Alejandro are great hosts and 24h hot water. I don’t mind the rustic shower and toilet.
