Instead of hiding we decided to camp out in the open but away from the road and soon we had some visitors who were friendly and welcoming, karibu, hamna shida... a quiet beautiful place with cattle being herded and the occasional person waving and kids coming to look. Magical place and a quick dip in Lake Eyasi completed it!
