Arrived on 4/14/24. Stayed for 5 days. Electric and water none resident $33 a night. Great campground friendly hosts and park rangers. I was in lot 20 and had not cell service for T-mobile. I needed to unplug so it worked out well for me. Would stay here again!
Report Check-InAll reservations must be done online, even same day, which means you have to pay an extra $10. The showers were free. FOR CAMPERS ONLY BIG SIGN ON THE DOOR.
Report Check-InNice park, but sites are very close together. The beach is beautiful and so unique! Don’t miss the sunsets!
We paid $21 for a tent site.
Great little spot just off the highway with all the amenities you need for a quick one nighter. Only $21 and hot showers included!
Report Check-InThis is a wonderful spot! Nice private beach with an easy walking path.
Positives- price ($18 for tent site), hiking, close to beach, HOT showers, very clean bathrooms with soap
Negative- close to busy road
EXCELLENT campground. clean flush toilets, showers are super clean, VERY hot, has a shelf for your stuff in the shower and a nice space to hang/place your clothes and stuff. campground spaces are level, have a picnic table and fire pit, spaces have enough room and the trees provide some privacy. really friendly and helpful camp host. it's a beautiful area, it's a shame we were only passing through. suitable for all rig sizes/types, we sleep in our car and paid $18 for unserviced tent site. it's somewhat close to the highway but road noise was very doable, not sure what that'd be like in a tent. it's a lot better AND cheaper than most state park campgrounds. would totally stay here again!
Report Check-InLovely campground with access to humbug mountain trail. Super clean facilities, good service with Verizon depending on site location. $18 a night no hookup.
Report Check-InSmall clean park, $18 for an unserviced site with showers. Much better than a noisy pull off with the winds today. 4 bars Verizon at the top sites by the host. very clean washrooms.
Report Check-InA wonderful place to shower after boon-docking for 6 nights. A non-electric tent site runs you $18 a night; $26 for hook-up. At the time of this post there are AMPLE places to snag a site, but of course there is after Labor Day. We don’t know if there is a black water dump as of yet this eve but we will find out tomorrow morning. But what there IS, is a shower with unlimited hot water supply.
The camp host and ranger both stay here and at the ready to keep things clean and safe. The showers are located between the men’s and women’s bathrooms and have private access after paying said ranger/park-host upon entry. Beach access is easy to find. Good people all around and no generators.
Head north to Port Orford after your stay for everything you need including propane and a snickers if that’s your calling. Sleep well here...
Report Check-InGreat park - 2 nights here. Very friendly staff and super clean sites and bathrooms. Maybe a 3/4 mile walk to a nice sandy beach from the upper loop, even closer if you stay in the lower loop. Verizon service good here - ATT spotty.
Only slight negative is close to 101 but traffic pretty minimal at night while we were here. But not really a big deal.
Report Check-InPark Rangers extremely helpful and friendly. Camp hosts are also friendly and helpful. Park is well kept and restrooms/showers are all very clean. Very nice campground.
