Description

Edit 15-01-2024: camping prohibited

Great spot. Hidden from the road with good weather protection from trees and gorgeous scenery - one spot in particular has 'sleeping bag' views out across the whole valley right from your tent. Very quiet, this road has almost no traffic. There is space for plenty of tents, ideal for cyclists but you could also drive in as there is a track leading down to the river.

Perfect place for our popup at the river. We had a peaceful night without wind. You can get protection by the trees. Noone disturbed us. Nice view, big spot. The stars are amazing at night!

This is the best spot we have camped at so far!! Flat grassy areas in plateaus. Although faaaar away at the road is a sign Camping is prohibited, not sure of this was still meant for this place. The gravel road is quite steep and narrow at some parts, so it’s not suitable for big rigs unless your the world toughest drivers and get there, as the place itself has options for big rigs, too.
Best Mountain View, little waterfall, easy access to river!
Lot of cows in the morning ;-)

Nice spot next to the rivier with great view on the mountains/glacier. No one bothered us during evening and night, were alone.
