Several spots along the canal. Quiet, fishing access, trash cans. You can also access the park on the other side of the canal to fish and bike the rail trail! Far Out!

Area on side of dirt road. The road is very sandy. We actually got stuck at the turn around at the end so be careful about going too far. The sand is deep at the end.
After we dug ourselves out of the sand trap (lol) we found a nice spot to pull off for the night.
j y étais le 13/10/2023 en effet c est sablonneux attention de ne pas aller trop loin ,sinon sous le pont on peut stationner

Thank you guys for the great reviews. Great easy little spot. Only a couple pieces of trash to pick up 👍
Report Check-InThis is one of the last great boondoocking spots in Florida. Pleased to say that the garbage appears to have been cleaned up! We could lose this one too if we don’t respect it. Don’t recommend it for a trailer. While there is plenty of space on the side of the road, as people have said , the turn around is super soft and the road is narrow. Impossible to turn around. Had a pleasant quiet night.
Report Check-InReally appreciated the comments about the sandy turnaround at the end, so I avoided it early. Great place for the night. People on bicycles showed up early in the AM to bike the trail and went by me quietly. It was a nice stay.
Report Check-InHad a really quiet peaceful night, went swimming with manatees the next morning in Crystal River! Be careful at the end of the road with the turn around. I got stuck pretty bad in deep loose sand, a few very friendly French Canadians, who were also staying here in a van, tried to help me but I was in deep. I ended up calling AAA, but 10 mins later a very nice local who was out fishing with his son was able to pull me out with his truck and a kinetic pull rope! The next morning it looked like another van had maybe got stuck in the same place so be very careful and just do a several-point-turn instead of getting stuck in the turn around!
Report Check-InGood and quiet spot to stay the night. We have a small car size camper 4x4, so no problem driving that small road.
Report Check-InSecond time staying here. No issues. I have a 21 foot camper van. Come in slow. I have only attempted this during dry conditions. I probably would not risk it if it were super wet.
Report Check-InNice long road running along North side of canal. Nice quiet spot, easy access for Class B
Report Check-InVery quiet, only one other van here. Background traffic is not loud. Great birdwatching and lots of fish jumping. Lots of bugs too! Sandy road, hard packed except at the end. Garbage bins. Lots of litter, please pick up even if it’s not yours. Sweet spot.
Report Check-InAwesome spots loads of „noseeems“. Lots of garbage too. But relatively quiet and close to crystal river.
Report Check-InWe stayed two nights with no issues. There is some deep sand at the loop end, don't get stuck. Quiet with some highway noise.
Report Check-InVery quiet. Saw one vehicle during two nights of camping. Nice walking area next to the canal.
We spent a little time picking up litter to express our gratitude.
Report Check-InRoad is suitable for small rigs and vans only. Seems secluded and good for a night. Spots are not very level.
