Parking lot of the hotel. Tenting in the huge garden. Beautiful scenery. Close to the caves and pozzas of Semuc Champey. Very rough road to get there (4x4). Flush toilets and cold showers. 50 p.P. per night. WiFi worked good.

Nice view from the Helipad. Price increased to 50Q pp. Free yoga class every morning. WiFi works good. Vegetarian Dinner for 75 Q (incl. dessert)

Came for 1 night but staying for 3. Food is good but no option to cook your own. Extremely difficult road if you are on a motorcycle. lots of steep downhill on very loose rocks. If 2up or not experienced in these conditions I would reconsider. But if you make it here it's great.

We just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Although there’s opportunity for camping we decided to rent their rooms! The chilling/dining area is amazing for meeting great people and enjoy great views. The food was great and the service overall amazing! Maybe we are lucky but we loved staying here! Great memories!

LOVED this place. Its a mission to reach, 4wd definitely recommended! But totally worth the effort- its a haven. The ground floor of the main building is a huge social area which offers breathtaking views across the valley and the perfect spot whether you just want to recharge or meet new people.

Lunch and dinner are available every day- its vegetarian (but reliably excellent!) and served to everyone at the same time. So if you're into great food, a welcoming ambience and especially if you're feeling sociable, you will be more than satisfied here.

We ended up renting a room (which was ok- the social area is the main attraction honestly) but you can set up camp just up the hill and enjoy all the ameneties. There is no electricity at the camp but I reckon if you ask, they'll happily plug in power stations/fridges for you during your stay. Wifi is reliable, good enough for youtube but definitely too slow for video calls.

You can join tours from here, enjoy yoga and meditation sessions or head off to semuc champey on your own. We wanted to stay for two nights, stayed for 4...

Cool hostel in the jungle by the river. Idyllic swimming spots within five minutes walk. Free yoga. Two camping options: in the parking spot (next to hostel, WiFi reaches) or at the top of the hill (awesome view but steep downhill to get to the hostel). No kitchen. Warm showers. Free potable water. Friendly staff. Q100 for 3 people in a rooftop tent with access to all facilities. Loved our stay here.

Hipster alert! :) Plenty of western back packers enjoying the view and the river. Camped below their WiFi area. Safe and OK, but not great because a lot of guests come to check their emails or watch YouTube there. Very steep and tricky road down to the hotel. Food was a bit hit'n miss, but enjoyed some really good
Mediterranean food (although it was Arabic).

we camped up the hill and paid 25q per person. the view was incredible. they said the camping on the hill was for campers only but we stayed there with our bikes and tent. it's a steep walk to the showers etc. WiFi didn't work. only 15 minute to drive to Semuc Champey. Warning for bikers: if it is wet, I would not recommend staying here. We really struggled to get back to the road from the hostel, the road is steep and it became like ice !

Did the whole road with 2wd Sprinter. Second to last hill we had to backup 2 times. Have to choose your line carefully. Would be a problem maybe with only front wheel drive van. Enough speed would help if you don't mind to rough your van up little bit.
Parked at the knoll as everyone else. Great views from here. Last 100 meters are not maybe made for 2wd drive and small parking lot is in the bush with no views.
Wifi is still slow. This place has 4 bars on Tigo 2G (slow).

Very nice eco hotel 15 min by car from the park Semuc Champey. 25 Quetzales per person to camp. We camped at the top of the hill before heading down to the hotel. The views were great although the restrooms, showers and hotel facilities were 3-5 min away from our camping spot. There are rooms available. We also walked down to the river for a swim. Semuc Champey is definitely worth the visit. 4x4 recommended.

Great campground only 15 min drive to Semuc Champey. We actually camped 50-100 meters up the hill on the crest of the road that goes down to Utopia (NOT in their designated camping area but still their property). It's a beautiful grassy knoll with incredible views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. 25q per person with access to bathrooms, showers (sometimes hot), slow wifi, and a reasonably priced vegetarian restaurant. No electricity.

nice hotel/hostel, very sociable cause no wifi (only at a hut nearby). semuc about 40 min walking distance. very rough road, can be too slippery for bikes if it rains (can't recommend riding up/down there in case of rain). paid 30q for a very comfortable hammock. food is good but relatively pricey and portions are not very big - bring snacks
