Paid ARS 10.000 (about USD 10) pppn. It's like a really expensive wild camping. No protection from the wind, not so clean bathrooms, no electricity at the tent sites, terrible terrible terrible wifi. Shower starts with hot water and then it gets almost cold after 2 min. Neighbor is building a house, so expect a lot of noise during the day. Really expensive for what it offers.

Camping space is basic and tents are crowded but such is Chalten. The rest of the facilities are really comfortable. Very hot showers. Nice big kitchen and dining area. Ok Wifi. Many electrical outlets to recharge. Very central location. We had a good 3 nights there while hiking.

When every other big campground is closed for the winter season - this one is still open. Went there with a mini campervan. It had electricity, hot showers. And all for 2000 Peso/night. Good deal - though don’t expect luxurious environment.

It’s insanely busy in town and finding a place to camp is tough… this one we gave a mis, it’s a bit like camping on the side walk with a whole bunch of tents on top or each other!!! No wind shelter either, looked terrible! Went to bonanza 10 kms up the road instead, sooo much better there for tents!

Report Check-In

The best campground in El Chaltén. Good hot water. Limited space means tents are close to each other. Needs more consistent cleaning in the kitchen and bathrooms. Friendly helpful staff.

What a mess. We drove by, but didn't dare to check-in.

Camping bem simples porém tem estrutura na parte interna do estabelecimento, aqui é hostel +camping…. Paguei 2000 pesos por pessoa , tem chuveiro quente, cozinha e Wi-Fi

We paid 2000pppn for a small campervan. They have space for a few vans but mostly tents, and also rooms. Comes with fully equipped kitchen, hot showers and wifi. A lot better then expected, pleased with the stay.

- late check-out sans souci
- cuisine correcte

Good hostel. They have rooms, a bit of space for tents and motorhomes. We paid 1800ppn. Bathroom with hot shower, kitchen and commun area are clean. You can use the kitchen. Wifi is good but not all the time.

Bon hostel.

The camping was closed because of the low season, but they allowed us to stay here with our rooftent for a couple nights.
They charged us 700pesos per person per night (low season price).
Really good and clean bathroons, hot showers, well equipped kitchen, good wifi, large common area.

Very nice and clean. Hot showers. Well equipped kitchen. Large commun room and heated. Showers are really clean, maybe the best we ever had. We payed 800 ARS with our motorhome for one night /person.

Open and as described. Good value for the price (800arg pp). Friendly staff! Nice view from the backyard.

We stayed two nights. Before doing the hike to laguna de los tres and after it. It’s ok and we can say cheep. They charged us $400 arg per person but they didn’t charge the car. The camping place it’s not big and the ground a little hard. They also have shared rooms for 900 the bed. The kitchen is well equipped and WiFi works ok. They have 3 showers for girls and 3 for boys. They worked really good and worm. In The common area there are tables with chairs it’s not a cozy place but it’s ok. Considering the prices in el chalten I can say this is a good option. Wold recommend if you don’t want to spend much.

New and very clean and quiet place. The young staff is very friendly and the WiFi very good for Patagonia.

Stayed 5 nights with our 4x4 with rooftop tent. Able to park in the backyard. Not nearly as crowded as other places in town. Kitchen is okay, bathrooms are good with nice hot showers. Paid 1000 per night (2 people and car) and managed to get it for 4500 for 5 nights. Quite expensive, like everything in the town. Hostel does not really have. A nice vibe but it was a nice and quite place for us.
