Wide grassy place off a switchback in the public road that ends at a little-used public beach on public land.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great flat spot overlooking lake.
Would definitely come back. So much peace and quiet. Deafening silence.
Lovely waterfront spot! Can easily park cars but to get right up to the water you must be comfortable driving on soft sand. You can park a bit away from the water and have no issues. Lots of TP and other things left from pervious visits. The water is a saline lake and not drinkable even with boiling or filtration!
Report Check-InAwesome spot right on the water. Stayed 2 nights with incredible views of the salt water lake and sounding hills. saw a couple locals come to the beach stayed for a bit then left but otherwise not busy during the week. we parked our 30ft RV trailer just by the beach. Alot of soft sand around but we found hard ground. Some more private spots further away from water.
Report Check-Inthis is an amazing spot... the grass is cut tall so someone is keeping an eye on it. There is a bit of debris and some trash around but not enough to spoil it. .. I'm here in early september and I haven't seen another person in 2 hours. I cooked a steak here and ate while the sunset over the lake. Road is easy a cess. advise staying on the road in case of nails
Report Check-InAbsolutely amazing campsite, amazing beach. Water has high levels of some chemical that doesnt There are also no fish, but tons of water mites in the water so be sure to boil it. Try to pack out as much garbage as you can to make it nicer for future people!
