Windstar Gas Station | Informal Campsite

Great truck stop for a nights stay! This is a gas station and truck stop together. We filled up on gas and asked the attendant if it was okay to stay overnight and they said no problem. We went behind the oxxo where there was a large gravel lot with mostly semi trucks. Great AT&T phone service but the station is a little noisy due to the highway and trucks but all in all a good stop for a night that is safe.

No need to buy anything unless you need it. We asked to stay in the trucker area right behind the OXXO store beside the gas station and they said no problem.
The bathrooms are open 24 hrs and they are free.
It’s not the quietest place but it’s safe and secure which means we will sleep well ( with earplugs!)

very noisy. right in the middle of the two highway lanes, so traffic noise from both sides, plus trucks coming and going in the yard. Felt like a safe stop though.

It is clean safe and quiet. No requirement that you purchase anything. Trucks parking on and off through the evening. Solid stop between Oregon and Mazatlan.

Gulf gas station, free parking if you buy gas and show the receipt. Suggest that you only buy a little gas and if you need a full tank drive further in town where it was 2 pesos cheaper per liter. Nice attendants, showers for men onlyand only cold water

Cargamos combustible y pedimos permiso para dormir en el estacionamiento. El lugar es cerrado con seguridad. Super tranquilo durante la noche, hay baño y duchas.

We load fuel and ask permission to sleep in the parking lot. The place is closed safely. Super quiet during the night, there are bathrooms and showers.
