A faint track leads off from a recently paved dip in highway 5 off into the desert, all hard pack and no sweat for 2wd, you can pull off anywhere along it to camp, this track used to lead down to the ocean but looks like it got washed out with the recent rains. I bet an adventurous soul could punch it through again. Either way a nice quiet spot out here in the middle of nowhere, not a single light to be seen at night, great stargazing and plenty of wood from the wash. No cell service

Place was absolutely beautiful and secluded. The main track is blocked/gated off and the off-road one is washed out from recent storms. Got 2 WD car stuck in the sand in the middle of the desert but a friendly local at the beach helped me out. I gave him some cervezas and pesos for his kind deed - thanks legend! Great place to boondock, though!
Report Check-InNice spot, arrived by bicycle in a tent. The track in is mostly firm. Stayed by the wash in the open but well away from the road (2km-ish!)
Report Check-InWe have tried with a Defender to go until the beach with no success. We have finally slept in the wash and by foot we have been to the beach. Very quiet place! There a lot of possibilities along the track to sleep.
Report Check-InAmazing spot. Gravel road for awhile, gets a little softer so we stopped early but hiked the road. View of water and mountains. Pristine.
Report Check-InThis is kind of a weird spot but personally, we loved it. <3
It's really easy to miss the turn from the highway. It's faint, leads you steep down and it appears just after a sharp turn, so have your eyes open for it. There's a lot of space here and we were completely alone so we drove as far away from the highway as possible and hid our camper behind the boulders.
It's a rocky and desert place, quite secluded. We didn't see anybody for the 4 days that we spent there. It's not easy to access the sea but it's possible, you just have to carefully walk down the rocky hill. It's best to swim when the tide is high cause with the low tide all the rocks are out and getting to the water is more complicated.
We felt super free here, we did some maintenance on our camper, make a bonfire, sang, even took out our DJ set a made a little private party. The night sky and the sunsets are spectacular, plus it was here we saw the singular most stunning moonrise in our lives.
