Description
Typical camping, it's open. toilets and water. 220volts works. very cheap and quiet. In the north entrance of the town.
It costs 50 p/p and 100 p/car if you come earlier in the afternoon. After 18/10 h there is nobody at reception so it’s free. So If you come after the hour you take the risk that toilets and showers are closed.

Por uma noite, 2 pessoas e 1 carro de passeio: 3000 pesos. Foi realizado um cadastro com o encarregado. Camping conta com banheiros limpos( quando chegamos havia uma moça limpando), 2 duchas quentes muito boas, espaço bem cuidado, com parrillas e pontos de luz. Não há portão. Fica próximo do centrinho da cidade, que é bem tranquila.

La Sra. Ericka (encargada) es muy accesible con los precios, ella se encuentra en una casa de madera enfrente del camping, de 9 a.m. a 13 pm y de 7 p.m. a 22 pm, adjunto foto de su numero telefónico.
En las 3 noches que nos quedamos vimos que vienen 2 veces x día a limpiar los baños, y también pasan a cobrar por la mañana y por la tarde.
El camping no tiene tranquera o portón, esta abierto 24 hrs, una patrulla da sus vueltas en el dia y en la noche.
OK camping! Very cheap. Jan 2024 - 1,000 ARG per person and either 1,000 or 1,500 for the motorhome. Plenty of space. Toilets clean enough. Didn’t try the shower as they are only open every other hour e.g closed 8-9pm, open 9-10pm etc. Electricity on every pole and they have grill tables. Only problem is there is a fair here too (maybe just for the summer) and they played kind of loud music until around 10pm/11pm.
Report Check-InMunicipal camping with simple but good structure. Great stop for backpackers and cyclists since they were only charging for the cars. Hot water showers.
Report Check-InMunicipal campsite free for cyclists and backpackers. Hot showers and electricty available. Just one bench available for the whole campsite. Very basic place, with a lot of trash. A bit noisy at night due to its closeness to the center of the town. Maybe it's because it was the week-end, but we heard a party or kind of concert until 5:30 am. But pretty nice place in general, and shady.
Report Check-InClosed for cuarentena but we were allowed to stay there. Police check at entrance to city let us in to sleep there. No toilets or showers but one faucet with running water and various plugs. Great wind protection! //
Cerrada por covid pero la policía en la entrada del pueblo nos permitió dormir allí. Agua y luz pero no hay baños ni duchas. Tiene protección del viento

You might not find open the toilets if there are no people staying at the camp.
Is close to the rute 40, just at the side of the tourism info reception.
It’s called Casa cultural/secretaría cultural.

It costs us 50 p/p and 100$AR car. electricity on site and bathroom. There is shower, I have not try it but they don’t see so much clean.
Is a day camping where people from the town come here to barbecue.
So if you have decide to stop and overnight in Rio Mayo, so check in after 18/20 Hours. So will not be anybody and you can just stay for free, of course you will not have bathroom or showers than they will close if there are no people at the camp. But electricity is under every light( if it works)
The city has supermarket and YPf gas station. Nothing big.
Everything has been said about the place, ok for one night if you happen to get here late, free, baño locked, light and electricity

the place is littered, there is not much privacy and stray dogs kept barking into the night.
no-one came to collect money, so free campsite (toilets were closed).
access is from the main road just of the roundabout.
We pay 100 pesos AR for two people and MH. nice e quiet place for nigth. Sowers and Toilette CLOSED but one man arrival after and opened. power 220 and water. Good protect wind.
